A couple of good color photos of a guy with a handsome face and decent body, preferably wearing boxer shorts (unlike several posters here, I like the package to remain a surprise), in a natural (not "artistic") pose. A list of basic stats, rates, and a simple objective statement of what he likes to do, in clear Standard English. Plus a link to a personal website if the ad is on something like Rentboy.

A face pic. Without a face pic, I am completely uninterested and won't hire the guy.

 

After the face pic, body shots are helpful. Also, an honest description and an honest appraisal of what the guy likes.

 

I find "versatile" to be overused in ads. Many guys may be "versatile" but most tend to be more of a top/more dominant (which is not spelled "dominate") or more of a bottom/more submissive. It's good to know ahead of time where the guy sees himself.

 

Honesty, above all. It's aggravating as hell to hire someone who bills himself as 22 and know when he walks in the room that he's far closer to 30 than 20.

 

Accurate, up-to-date ads. Some guys are still using the same pics they've used for years. The ads in Frontiers contain some good examples of this.

 

A friendly approach: it doesn't cost anything to write a few friendly words, inviting people to conact the guy. Ads that contain the barest possible number of words make me think the guy simply really doesn't care much about what he's doing. The same goes for email responses.

As far as written information is concerned I want basic "accurate" information. That information should include:

 

Age

Height

Weight

Top, versatile top, bottom

Kiss

Hourly rate, evening rate, overnight rate

 

As far as photographs are concerned I want good professional QUALITY photographs and require any TWO of the following THREE:

 

Face shot

Body shot

Cock shot

 

Some guys use photographs that as so bad that I can't help but feel that they have no concept of what the word professional means and if that is the case I'm NOT INTERESTED.
