"My name is David. I am well named, for some swear they have seen me before and then realize it was in Florence they thought they’d met me, only to remember its Michelangelo’s amazing carved physique standing on the plinth in the rotunda of the Accademia delle Belle Arti. My tender smooth skin is stretched over lean sinewy muscle. My arms and legs are beautiful. My abs and Adonis Girdle are a vision to behold. God should have stopped when He finished me as I am His major work. As such, I neither top nor bottom, my mouth is yours to kiss, tongue you will melt into the lost desire you knew once or will find now with me. I, with my body and talent will bring you places you have never been before or travel to again with another. Call me, David"

Words fail me...

Dick

ROFL .... that was good. Not that David was a linebacker but this one was a little too skinny to fit that bill. Not to be on par with being deluded ... but I get a lot of clients telling me I look like the statue when my hair is in long curly mode. Never know if it's to butter me up or genuine but love that compliment.

So much so that in the next month or two you can expect http://www.ryanboydphotography.com/ to do a photoshoot (again, his idea -- I just laugh at the coincidence) with me covered in "stone paint" doing an impersonation.

P.S. Were there piercing parlors in Florence when Michaelangelo was selecting models?? }(

Right statue, just wrong artist

Actually, Michelangelo's David is just one interpretation of the real David, who I doubt really looked that. I believe that the escort meant to say Donatello's David. The pose in his first pic is the very similar to the pose of that statue, which has an eerily similar physique as the escort.

RE: Right statue, just wrong artist

Hey VaHawk I like the comparison to Donatello's David rather than to Michelangelo's. I know an Art History Prof who always refers to the Donatello David as "David in drag" because of the silly floppy hat he is wearing. Unless one is really into twinks, big time, the Donatello David doesn't offer much. Now the Gianlorenzo Bernini David like its more famous counterpart by Michelangelo is definitely for MEN who like MEN.

More to the point -- if this escort really thinks he looks like the Michelangelo David he needs a serious reality check!!!!!

RE: Right statue, just wrong artist

I was just "supposing" as imo, the pics do remind me of Donatello's David, but I have no clue as to what the escort intended with his reference. But since he, as many pointed out, bears no resemblance, whatsoever to Michelangelo's David, then I was giving him the benefit of the doubt by speculating that he just made an error.

Personally, I prefer the Donatello statue, as the others seem to be some wishful queen's bloated ideal of stereoptyped over-muscled, masuline perfection (but I could be wrong as a true queen would have given his David a bigger cock and big low hangers :))! But then again, perhaps I was right, as to get a body like that today, guys use steroids, which shrivel the cock and reduce the balls to the size of dead grapes (aka raisins).

And, being a hat fanatic, I love the floppy, faggy hat on Donatello's David! I sure hope the model was wearing a purple hat with a big yellow feather! :7

This BOZO has made the classic error of OVERSELLING... Anyone who is minimally adept in marketing will usually recommend a certain degree of undersell... That way you will be all the more impressed when the actual product is experienced... as opposed to feeling disappointed, let down, and deceived...

I do agree that he looks more like the Donatello “David”. Though I don’t think this guy was at all ‘confused’… he knew exactly what he was doing… which was to try and bamboozle prospective clients… and I don’t agree that an overconfident and arrogant attitude is a good thing… as most clients are usually turned off by such a mind-set…

Forget about which David he resembles, let's not forget what he says: "God should have stopped when He finished me as I am His major work."

To my knowledge, there isn't a patron saint of the deluded...so, I'll be doing a novena to St. Dymphna, patron saint of the mentally ill. Or should I address, St. Jude, patron saint of lost causes?

I bet he has clients lined up from his OVERSELLING ad. Something to make him stand out in the crowd and also make people curious. Curiosity gets them all the time.

Naw... your easy to pick at with the comments you make and too much fun. Besides your the one that said you have an ego after comparing yourself to the statue David.

Besides everytime I "pick" at you, you probably get a few new clients. :*

I think we've all given this guy more attention than he deserves, which is of course what he wanted in the first place… with his narrow-minded short-term marketing scheme…

He may have a bunch of potential clients lined up now... but I sincerely doubt that in the long run all the attention will translate into much repeat business... He may standout from the crowd… but eventually he will standout from the crowd more like a ‘Sore Tom Thumb’… to continue with the P.T Barnum analogy!

Thank you GOD, or is it merely Thank you JESUS CHRIST???

"I think we've all given this guy more attention than he deserves, which is of course what he wanted in the first place… with his narrow-minded short-term marketing scheme…"

Wow, that statement sums up this message board so well, that nothing posted in the past, or most likely to be posted in the future, could possibly top the self-righteous arrogance of this statement! :7

I'd wager at this point, that you're asking yourself, "what the hell are you talking about?".

How about?: the judgemental attitude exhibited by so many of the mc posters about people that they have never met; how about the fact that so many of the mc posters firmly believe that they are omniscient and as such, can state what someone's character is and what they "wanted in the first place"; how about how so many mc posters are so full of themselves" that they feel that they speak for everyone else. x(

Did this escort open this thread? Unless I missed something he didn't. So if anyone gave his ad undeserved attention, it is the op of this thread, and the posters who, in turn, deigned to post here!

Which is more pathetic? Some escort's ad that advertises that he is the epitome of Michelangelo's statute of David, or the judgemental postings of mc posters, such as yourself? My vote goes to the second scenario.

BTW: What, if any deception, is the escort engaged in, as he posts his pics, that show that his physique is not the same as Michelangelo's David?
