Dont know if this is the appropriate forum to ask this question, but ... was online making arrangement with local guy I've been wanting to meet when he cancelled on me saying that he'd seen on the "escort chat blog" that someone had posted a negative review of me. The only negative action I've had in nearly a year was a guy who stood me up, and when I told him that I did not appreciate it, he went off about how "clients have to understand that booking an escort is not like ordering a pizza", etc., etc.

 

Anyway, I'd like to see this blog and see what is posted there ... but the guy who now refuses to see me refuses to offer up any means of me checking the site.... at least on M4M, the escorts have an opportunity to post their response to bad reviews.

 

any suggestions? I know it's gonna slide off my back in a bit, but for now, it bugs me

Did you mean escort board ?

If so, it's escort only and you cannot view it/respond to it. It doesn't work the same way as M4M.

I've been escorting for 5 years and I've never heard of this secret "escorts-only" board and I probably wouldn't read it anyway if I did know what it was. I treat everyone with the same courtesy and respect and that has worked for me without having to rely on some secret postings that may or may not be true. If someone screws me (not in the fun way), then I just learn something from the experience for next time and hopefully avoid a repeat.

 

I've had no-show clients and ones who try to rip me off, and it's annoying, but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as when I read (or hear first-hand) about clients being treated unfairly or manipulated or intimidated. That must be creepy to find out that there's a place where people are writing about you but you can't see it. I wouldn't think too much about it, though...if someone's going to read gossip about you and believe it without giving you a fair chance, then perhaps you're better off not meeting them anyway.

Thanks guy, i appreciate that thought ... and I'm pretty much over the whole thing ...but it is indeed creepy to think that someplace in cyberspace there's a little "bitch board" for posting unsupported accusations ... aint life grand

It saddens me Rick that you don't approve of a site letting your fellow comrades out there know of a potential client who will rip them off or has the track record of not acting to favorably with escorts.

I never said I disapproved of such a site; I said that I didn't know it existed and that I wouldn't have use for it if I did. And it's not my place or my style to approve or disapprove anyway. Now stop being so sad and get ready for New Year's.

Thanks for posting. That is exactly the purpose of the escort board and I'm glad I was able to contribute over there.

It is also true that there is no place for self promotion because of the nature of the beast.

a final thought for i have definitely moved on from the incident ... i am not at all opposed to a site that offers escorts the same type of discussions and information shared on this board ... what bothers me is that it is so secretive. what have you to hide? on this site, an escort is encouraged to respond to reviews/gossip/bs. to carry onyour own reviews in secrecy ensures the opportunity for someone with a grudge to carry out the vendettas that are not tolerated here.
