Fratboys Harrisburg: Are they there??

Hello.

 

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not Fratboys in Harrisburg is functioning or not. On November 8 in the What's New section there was a message stating that they were back up and running. I even received a return call from them after having left a message. Seemed encouraging. I asked if the site was accurate in who was being offered at that time. The individual had only just returned and was not certain and I was asked to call back later that night. I did so but only got the answering macine, as I have the past two weeks or so after leaving an occasional message asking for a return call. I only want to know whether they are, or are not, functioning. Seems a fair question. Thanks to anyone who responds.

Yes, they are operating again. I had an appointment with one of their guys yesterday (Sat 11/26) which went very well. Spoke to Lance several times in setting it up and he was very helpful. My only complaint would be that he is still very slow in answering emails, if he answers them at all.

I've been trying to reach Fratboys, without success, for weeks. I finally got a return e-mail as well as a phone call (message left on my machine) from Lance last week. Since then we've been playing phone tag, with Lance being "it" most of the time. It's been extremely frustrating because in the main Lance has not been available to take/answer phone calls, and primarily the only e-mails being sent out are the canned ones, which are worthless. In Lance's defense he left a second kind phone message indicating there's been a major illness in his family but that he would try to get back to me soon as possible. That was a couple days ago.

 

My sense is that Lance is just in way deep over his head right now, and doesn't have anyone helping him. This, coupled with personal matters, has meant that he is unable to attend to his business the way that he would like and should.

Yes, I suspect you are right. I certainly know what it is like to be overwhelmed. I guess I will just keep trying. Sooner or later....

if he's never there to take appts don't the guys get upset with him and leave? i mean they are losing money by lance not being there to run things.

I wondered that also. When I talked to Lance on November 8 and asked him if there present list of guys on the site is accurate he was not sure who was still on the site. I have not been able to reach him since and none of my messages were returned. I sympathize with Lance and his being overwhelmed. Its happened to me plenty of times. Still, it is extremely frustrating to offer a service, but yet not have access to the service being offered. Maybe they should announce when they are going to be closed. Very odd.

I used to hire one of the Fratboys when I'd be working in Harrisburg. Lance always has a hundred excuses to hand out. He probably has a little black book of them to alternate from. His inability to answer calls, return call promptly, reply to emails promptly, etc. all show his inability to run a business properly.

 

Perhaps I'm spoiled because of having Premier here in Philly.

 

I've started having one of the Premier guys to Harrisburg if I'm interested in seeing someone while there. You may want to consider this as well.

 

A friend of mine from Harrisburg used to come to Philly often to see guys from Premier. His gas/tolls would cost him $40, hotel $120, food and liquor $50+ (substantially more if the escort is joining him for dinner and/or drinks) and would see someone from Premier for two hours for about $270 plus tip. All told, he'd spend a minimum of $480 (not including tip) when he came in to see someone. Now he just has someone from Premier come to him ... no gas/tolls, no hotel, no need to go out to eat, and he and the escort can drink as much as they want from his own bar. The cost of bringing a guy from Philly is $380 plus tip. My friend winds up saving at least $100 by having a guy from Premier come to Harrisburg. Just thought you might be interested.

Thanks. That is useful to know. I have seen the Premier website and often wondered if it might be worth a try. I assume they would be willing to meet at a hotel. Do you happen to know how much they expect by way of tip? Also, do you know anything about Paramount Escorts which is also in Philly? Thanks.

Our rate to Harrisburg is just $280 for the first hour. The $380 rate would be for two hours. We travel to Harrisburg all the time. It's about a two hour drive for us from Philly.

I hired Tyler on a trip to Harrisburg and also hired Tony when Lance bought several guys to DC last summer. Both were cute, polite but pretty much straight - gay for pay. Of the two Tony seemed a bit more into it and I had no complaints as I knew they were straight going into it.
