A year ago Vincent Michael was one of our favorite escorts. He is now so desperate that he put his nude picture in his M4RN ad; he also had to turn off the review feature. He had a review on AME (he has since taken down the ad) that described him as a sickly...rail-thin nerd. The reviewer also stated he was very willing to be barebacked.

VM truly has a history here and indeed was at one point one of the favorites with many people. But whether you like him or dislike him, it seems unfair for someone without a history here to make their first post one that seems to me to be very unfair to VM.

It's very hard to believe someone's thread when it's there first time post and a new member as of 11/1, I wonder who you could be behind this new name, sounds like a personal attack from a newbie with no facts to back his story. For someone that knows VM hard to believe that he would ever bareback. As for rail-thin, I don't think so

I also find this very hard to believe. Michael was always an excellent companion. I was is his company several times. I looked for his ad on Menforrentnow and couldn't find it. I also think you should produce the review you talk about for credibility. Otherwise it's seems to be just an unwaranted attack on Michael. I hope someone can disprove this person who wrote this post with a real review of Michael and I hope to see him in NY when he visits.

I'm another fan of Michael. We met in Philadelphia and had a great time together. Two important points regarding this first time review. One, Michael is a self admitted nerd and that one of his indearing qualities, Not the jaded Gaiety boy that wants only to please himself and take the money. Family and friends are very important to him. Two, Michael was never a towering hunk of muscle, He was more of a swimmers build. Hard and soft in all the right places.

 

So if Michael wants to come back to Philadelphia he knows he has lots of guys that are willing to see him again. And I still don't care if he can't spell worth a lick :9

Actually, the ad is current. The pic in question was only added within the last week or so.

 

Just because the Contact Info box is blank doesn't mean the ad is not current. VM's contact info box has been blank since he first posted this ad when he came out of retirement. Some escorts choose not to post their telephone numbers in their ads. The M4RN ads are not current when the Contact Info box disappears completely such as this ad, which Jesse posted for his trip to Florida last Spring:

Just some bashing by a first time poster. Funny we have not heard a word from him since the post

The only change I see is that he has changed his mind about adding his best picture, which his previous clients were able to see several months ago when he returned to the business. It is a great shot and I am glad he put it out there.

 

Second men4rent recently changed their presentation to have email link in the contact info box. The add is still good and he should receive the email. He has just chosen not to put his phone number out there. Usually the dead ads are pushed to the last page or two. I just wish men4rent would simply get rid of the dead ads completely rather than keep them out there.

 

Third as to no review button. I have talked to several escorts over the past couple months and that seems to be the latest trend for men4rent to not initiate the review button. For two good reasons, any one can post a review and although the escort is informed even a false review left out there for a few days can be very damaging. Second for god sakes who in the right mind would use those reviews for deciding whether to hire or not. Other than finding out if the guy showed up what good are they. I always cross check the ads of rentboy and men4rent to the only worthy review site, hooboy. Althoug far from foolproof at least the description and method of operation can usually be verified.

 

So to the person who started this thread if you have true knowledge then go through the effort of posting a review or at least have the courage to keep your profile live.

 

Finally, VM has kept a very low profile, unfortuantely since his return. I enjoy his commentary. It always seemed genuine and for the most part he seemed to enjoy being a part of the conversation, much like Juan and Stephen and several others.
