$4000 for a weekend??

Today’s first-time review, by a first-time reviewer, of Jamie from Toronto, claims that his $4000 per weekend rate was a bargain: “I dont usually pay this much for an escort. but let me tell you guys this boy is more then worth it.” Then, apparently out of pure shame at taking advantage of Jamie’s modest pricing, “I made sure to give him a nice tip at the end of it all.”

 

In his picture Jamie appears cute-ish, in a scrawny sort of way, but am I the only one who did a double take when the reviewer stated that he possesses “some of the strongest legs I’ve seen in a while.” How many? Are they his own?

 

The review reads like an ad – (I’LL pay Jamie $4000 plus tip if he can prove that it was not written by him or a friend.) But it set me wondering: has any of you ever paid this kind of money for a weekend’s roll in the hay? What is the most people have paid for a weekend? Was it worth it in retrospect?

I suspect this is a fabricated review written by the escort in hopes of getting a client to pay 4K. I would think this "businessman" who makes enough money to fork out 4K for a weekend would write a more well written review without so many grammatical errors and misspellings. Interesting clue: if you read his bio on men4rent now link he mispells the word cater twice as "catter" . The same double letter mistake is made in the review with the word definitely mispelled twice as "deffinitely". Just a coinsidence? Even if the review is for real, that fee is outrageous and ridiculous, and he just looks like an average skinny kid to me. Not my type at all.

I think I would not be getting out of bed if I was paying that kind of money. The most I have spent on a weekend 72 hours is $2400 and expenses. I knew the guy for sometime though. It was my birthday present to myself a few years ago. I was thinking of spending $4,000 on my fortieth birthday but I think my taste will keep me looking for another.

Yes, I just didn't want to be the first to say so. Which brings me to another question: do the people who run this site ever delete reviews that are obviously bogus?

 

And yes, the fact that this fabricated review made it to coverboy status is astonishing, and naturally leads one to unflattering speculations about the management.

Are we talking $4000 American or Canadian. Because converted that's about $3424 American. NOT unheard of for an entire weekend. I know I'm never a good one to comment on the "going" rate but it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility.

I mean, we're talking (72 Hours of Companionship) - 24 Hours (assuming 8 hours of sleep which RARELY happens ). I think that's pretty reasonable given MOST overnight rates are about $1000.

If that review is real, my name is Dolly Parton. I can't imagine anyone paying $400 CDN let alone $4000 for a weekend with that bag of bones. Coverboy selection hasn't changed since Hooboy was doing it.

 

Coverboy for the day is selected from the reviews being published that day (so the selection is already limited) with at least some attempt to make the pictures reflect a variety of men over time.

 

Coverboy does not mean it's a good review. In fact, even Hooboy picked coverboys who had a really bad review but their picture (based on what was in that day's crop) fit the need. Some days, he had coverboys of questionable quality just because they were the only one with a picture that day.

The $4000 weekend rate struck me as totally fake as well. Even if it was 4000CDN$ ( and ONLY $3400US), I am not aware of any escort from anywhere having charged that rate in Canada and getting any business.

 

For clients paying for escorts in Canada, they generally pay the Canadian rate. For escorts visiting from the US, the rate is usually the escorts travelling fee, usually quoted in US$ for American escorts. Most Canadian escorts charge less than the average US rate for big cities such as New York or LA. There is only an established broad based male escort scene in three cities in Canada, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. These are our only large cities, after all.

 

If you read the Escort Travels site, very few American escorts visit Canada not because it is far away (Toronto and Montreal are closer to New York than many USA destinations) but because they cannot make the same $$ as they do in the US.

 

The rates for the best escorts in Toronto tend to be around $200 to $250CDN per hour ($160US to $210US) and $150 to $200 ($120 to $160US) in Montreal. For Americans, Montreal has always been a great bargain (although less so today than a few years ago when the CDN$ was around 65 US cents). Those days appear to be over as long as oil is selling for $65US since Canada is a major oil exporter ( we ship more oil to the US than Saudi Arabia).

I couldn't resist, so I emailed Jamie to see what he would quote for his weekend rates. (I gave a lot of information about myself that had about as much truth in it as you'll find in Jamie's review.) Sure enough, he said his daily rate is $2000 (!!) but that he could do 3 days for just $4000.

 

Does the sucker exist who would really be taken in by this??

My daily rates are around there, sometimes higher. I'd give you a list of the gentlemen but I'm not one to break confidentiality

 

This all goes back to let people charge whatever they want. If you can't afford or refuse to pay it that's your deal. There is NO need to bash an individual or call them names because of your issues. If they're making their rates, what client god inbued you with the rights to scrutinize their business?

This entire thread seems strange to me. The boy may not be to everyone's taste but a lot of men do like boys like that. There's no point in being unpleasant simply because he doesn't appeal to you. Also, $4000 is a lot of money but if you read the ads here and on other sites you see that many boys make that kind of money. Why is this boy being singled out? If nobody wants to pay the money he'll lower his rates. There is no ideal rate that all escorts everywhere must offer. Finally, I notice that in this thread and in others people write categorically about fake or bogus reviews. How do you know? I've never posted a review here. If I did, would you say it was bogus because I would be a first-time reviewer? You see that makes no sense. How do people here know for sure that a given review is bogus?
