I'm contemplating a short trip to LA and was wondering if there are any good agencies there. I know many of you will think that I should just use this site to vet the boys, and I may do just that, but sometimes I like to hire through agencies. So, any suggestions? Thanks SF Traveler

Dave who runs Man to Man Escorts is a really nice guy and has been helpful to me and many others here. The only question is, how real are the escort stats on the site? I hired and reviewed one of their guys who's now advertising 10 years younger than he told me he was when I saw him 30 months ago. That said, others here in the LA market can chime in with more color.

SF, FYI, after my post above, Dave from MantoMan contacted me regarding the alleged age discrepancy. He has now corrected the stats on his site regarding the escort I mentioned.

 

How's that for honesty in advertising?

Before I found this site, I used an agency in San Diego, I think, that was a total fraud. Somehow, I had the impression that man to man was the same thing, so I'm very glad to find out that I was confused and wrong about man to man. The west coast used to be notorious for really lousy escort agencies. (Still is, for the most part, except for one.)

Clients, in these questions its always helpful to list the kinds of escorts you might seek. For example, while I have suggested Man to Man to some prospective clients, others told me they could not find what they sought on their web site.

 

I still strongly recommend (even though I nearly never advertise there myself), that anyone visiting Los Angeles go to Frontier's web site and scout out the ads and then either double check reviews or ask questions on this site.

the problem with frontiers is that some of the pictures are 15 to 20 years old and some of the guys that are "new to town" arrived in the 90's! it's a real crap shoot.

 

best bet is to go through the reviews here. there are some great guys with good reviews so you know exactly what you are getting.

 

i have found the only advantage with an agency is that you can make easier contact and it is easier to set up an appointment.

Thanks, Deej -- and it's true that my agency is one of the few left on the West Coast (or in the USA, for that matter). Agencies are kinda becoming extinct, which is really a shame, as a reputable agency is really the safest and most reliable way to go -- especially for travellers visiting town, which is the bulk of my business lately.

 

Franco: Thanks for passing on my website to prospective clients! It's true that often I don't have "twink" types available, which has disappointed some clients, but I am currently stepping up my "model search" -- so I can have more of a selection. Ain't easy to find guys in So. Cal who prefer to go thru an Agency rather than independently, but I know there must be some out there!

 

SF Traveller: When I first started out, there was another agency in San Diego called FirstClass/Extraordinary Males -- and they were a horrible rip-off. Fortunately, they are gone now -- but I am still paying the price for them -- as many have confused my agency with theirs. I'll speak up for ManToMan as well. Dave is very helpful and reliable. I have dealt with him for years -- back to the days when he was pretty much just covering San Diego. Totally into client service. I've posted several times recommending this agency, and I've used them numerous times over the years. I don't hire much these days, but I'd have no hesitation using them again. BTW, whether you see someone on his site that you like or not, ask Dave if he has any guys not shown on his site -- I met several very hot guys through him that he hadn't gotten a chance to list at the time I contacted him.

I have always wondered about Millennium Concepts...sounds like an interesting place. So which guys are the "hits"? Do they send/have pics of their men to choose from?

Rentboy.com is now the best place to find escorts. Escorts pay by the month so their contact info is current. If you can find an escort there and check him out on this site, so much the better. But some of the contact info here is not current and many of the boys have moved on.

I think that Millenium Concepts operates from somewhere near the Inland Empire, East of LA. I've not heard alot of feedback about them, and I do not think they have a website. In-call facility? Damn -- I wish I could pull THAT off!
