When talking about David Forest, it pays to look at history. (Or be doomed to repeat it?)

 

Way back when (all of ten years ago?), before the internet changed the world of paid companionship (and this site certainly played its role in that sea change), David Forest made milestones of his own as the "go to guy" for male companions.

 

When he was running his "Brad's Buddies" escort service (for which he served time in prison), it was one of the few "reputable" ways to hire an escort. Back then, it was street-walkers or text-only ads in the back of bar magazines. Or Brad's Buddies.

 

The problem with David today, legal troubles aside, is he doesn't realize how much of an anachronism he's become. Most of his models have websites of their own, or ads of their own on rentboy.com and other sites.

 

I'm really sort of amazed, with an upcoming court date for pending pandering charges (again), that he's advertising at all.
