Actually the only gay bar that's still around that I went to is Frank's Place. (I thought he'd be dead and gone by now.) That was really more of a neighborhood bar but I did pick up some great locals there. But, I also spent some very boring nights there when NO ONE showed up.

 

I actually met my second lover at Anthony's Steam Carriage in the New London train station. But I understand that's now gone.

 

You may want to try Stash's on Pequot Avenue. But you really need to approach these guys with serious caution. Most are very closeted.
