Gorgeousboys.com & Today's Review of David/Charleston

OK, so what's up with this scam?

 

I've seen the gorgeousboys site before and noted that (a) every state I checked has exactly three very hott guys, (b) the three in Minnesota are definitely not escorts, and © when I happened to check the three in Louisiana, one uses pornstar Billy Brandt's pics, one uses pornstar Chad Knight's pics, and I didn't recognize the third. I understand that it's a pay to view site and they advertise a variety of content, but are they now using this site's Reviews to scam people into joining their site to contact a guy who is not an escort? I'm sorry, but today's Review of David in Charleston reeks of phony. x(

Jeez, I missed the date on the Review. The plot thickens. Does anyone know anything gorgeousboys? Clearly it's not a legit escort site when fake pics are posted.

I know this seems very basic, but what does it profit a guy to do this scam with fake pics and fake names and cities and stolen pics and all this..What is going on???

Pay your $24.99 (or whatever they're asking) to join the site and report back on what you get out of it. I'm betting not much, but he'll have your $24.99 for relatively little effort. Yours, and possibly thousands of other guys'.

 

Not only that, he'll likely have your credit card number and whatever other information you gave him during signup. And you may unwittingly sign up for a recurring monthly charge.

 

I met some people who actually ran a for-pay site. They bragged that they were still billing people who clearly hadn't accessed the site since they accidentally dumped their password file and required everyone to write in for a new one. And this was a year after the site went out of business. (That's when I left the room. My skin was crawling.)

 

There's potentially a lot of money in internet scams, which is why there are so many of them.

Yes, I found it a total scam. I joined a year ago after finding the site because the pictures for guys in my area looked great. Members were promised phone numbers and contact info. None were found once inside.

E-mails I sent to the webmaster complaining of this were never returned.

There was no interactive map to find guys once inside the site.

Avoid and save your money.

But back to my original point -- these bastards are manipulating this site to further their scam. "David/Charleston"'s "new pic" and old Review are still in the queue for yesterday, with the goregeousboys email addy right there.

I don't think that HooBoy should take down this particular review, unless and until he PERSONALLY finds something to change the situation.

 

When HooBoy posted the original review, we can only assume that he utilized the same "integrity-guaranteeing" mechanisms that he has consistently boasted about. In short, that original review probably had some merit.

 

If it doesn't have merit NOW, then HooBoy can annotate the original review, or admit that he made a mistake, or post a disclaimer.

 

If the original review disappears, then how would the rest of us know that there was a problem with gorgeousboys, regardless of what HooBoy does.

 

And finally, all things considered, HooBoy can only deal with the hand he is dealt with (HooBoy: no Vegas pun intended); if it feels right and seems right and the reviewer is legitimate, then the review should stand.

 

If YOU have a problem, like I DO, with gorgeous boys, then just avoid them.

 

Don't blame or expect HooBoy to correct this situation. Just read what he posts, which we have seen, and make your decisions accordingly.
