new york update

Will spend some time in N.Y. pretty soon. Anything new as far as the bar scene is concerned? Any new hustler bar ? Is Townhouse taking over from Stella's ? They always tried to keep the hustlers out of the bar, but perhaps now they are more willing to allow them in?

Would be nice to have a hustler bar in addition to the Gaiety.

Good Question. The Townhouse always had "Escorts" frequent the place. But the Guys from Stella's were a little more "Obvioso"..... WestSiders...But I guess someone who Frequents EastSide.. Townhouse could answer this question Better! :+ :+ :+

Last time I was at the Townhouse there were some guys clearly working. I recongized some from Stellas. The guys are more discrete than at Stellas. You will know by the eye contact and the fact they are much younger than the typical Townhouse regular.

Can you post the address of where the Townhouse is located in NYC.

I've heard of the place but never been there. I would like to check it out. What type of music do they play there? any cover charge?

Have heard of another bar that is listed here called Le Fleur...never been but maybe someone knows something its 41st and 6/7th street or 8/9th street

Townhouse is located on 58th St. between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. There are 2 places on the same street called Townhouse; one is the restaurant and the other is the bar. You're looking for the bar (no cover charge)... The patrons at this upscaled bar are more the professional type and most men arrive after work in their business suits. It gets a good crowd and you'll quickly realize that there are about 20 patrons to 1 hustler... If Townhouse doesn't work for you, walk across the street to O.W. bar. Saturday night's entertainment is go-go boys in thongs.... If you're still not happy, walk up to the WEB on 58th and Madison. You might just get lucky. :-)

La Fleurs is located at 355W. 41st Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, but closer to the corner of 9th. A few of the former boys from Stella's can be found wondering around.

The Townhouse Bar is located at 236 E.58th. Between 2nd and 3rd Aves.
