It looks like the photographer had fun at least. I'm not crazy about the shots into the audience though, what happened to "Whatever happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas?".

 

I hope they keep doing it, I think I'll make special effort to get to CES next year if they do. Hopefully they work the kinks out as well.

I really enjoy BN's 15 mins. His pics are great and he likes to share what he sees with those of us who can not go the these events or to the places he visits. I find his posts entertaining, interesting and informative and get a good idea of what is going on. Fridays with Benjamin is a regular thing with me, at least I wish it was, but I do enjoy the Blog.

You should be more careful in making references to other members. I have never said a single negative thing about BN or his 15 minutes, so I haven't a clue as to what you are referring. I'm sure you have me confused with another member.

Benjamin Nicholas (BN) has been both revered and bashed on this site, and I am not quite sure if either is fair, or to the point.

 

That's up to the individual poster to decide, and call it as you want.

 

I am not a big fan of BN, but let's face facts: he is successful and DOES provide us with facts and information that we might not otherwise find out about.

 

And, although I think no one has ever said it before, regardless of the content, I am grateful for BN for the time and effort he takes to put togther the 15 minutes; I know it takes a lot of time and effort and I DO appreciate what he tries to accomplish.

 

Damn, I read the NY Times every Sunday, and although I don't liike everything they say, I couldn't really want a Sunday without it.

 

And so it is with Ben's postings.

Well, for the record, I DO pick and choose those portions of the NYTimes that I want to read. And I discard the rest.

 

Same with BN's 15 minutes. I certainly enjoy the eye candy pics, but sometimes I think the narratives are a bit much.

 

But it doesn't change my original post. Like it or not, BN, I do TRULY and SINCERELY appreciate the effort you take to provide us all with some entertainment.

 

I'm sure you could find other things to do with you time, but at the very least, you keep us engaged.

You're right: It would be silly of me to think that i'm liked by everyone and it's even more insane to try.

 

Like i've said before, i'm just having a blast through this whole shindig by just being me. My '15 Minutes' may not be as insightful & deep as Devon's Diary was, but that was never my intent from the getgo. If you want (and only prefer) Devon's POV, then i suppose it's best not to keep reading my own writings.

 

Those who know me also know that i'm no braindead slouch. I'm an intelligent young guy with things on his mind, but i leave that for in-person meetings and face-to-face situations. '15 Minutes' is fodder for the showman in all of us. It's fluff and fun. Nothing more. I don't want to change the world: Just lighten it up for a little while and have a smile.

 

Thanks HotDad for the hat-tip. We may not see eye-to-eye on everything, but i find it pretty cool that you've got the cojones to praise the blog. I appreciate it.

A while ago I posted what I thought was a lighthearted thread about the church of BN. I did this to have a little fun since so many here are devotees of Benjamin. I did not mean that thread to indicate that I did not understand such devotion, as we all have our favorite escorts. For the record, I think Benjamin is a fine fellow who seems to do a great job. Any thought to the contrary is not my intent. I do not understand anybody's need to vilify him. Everybody here takes some criticsm at some point, but BN is getting more than his share.

Ben, as long as you keep having fun posting the blog, I'll have fun reading it.

 

I tune in for the eye candy (OK, so I'm a picture freak) and I do enjoy reading about events that I can't or won't attend. I especially like the travel descriptions (been to the same places; like hearing about someone else's experiences in the same places).

 

I expand my mind by reading mysteries (Grisham's The Broker) and modern history (Koonz's The Nazi Conscience).

 

When I want or need sheer entertainment, I turn to HB's Forum. The 15 minutes is a pretty good part of that.

 

Although sometimes, I must say, your postings, as humor, are in direct competition with some of the reviews posted here.

Benjamin seems to get more than his fair share of bashing. What really speaks volumes for me is the fact that he is respectful and continues to be himself, entertaining us and getting us information you do not seem to find anywhere else. I have to admire his attitude. I probably would have given up but he just keeps on going. As HotDad said it is a lot of work and he really seems to enjoy sharing his experiences with us.

 

Keep it up Benj. Oh you have no problems in that area and do not need encouragement.

Novice, you're not the only one. I don't recall him getting bashed either, at least not "more than his fair share." The message center has always had those who are worshipful of escorts, those who are critical and those who are neither or somewhere in-between (I hate the word "normal" because who's to say?). I've written almost 5,000 posts (watch out, Mr. Lucky...I'm a-comin' up behind you) and during that time, other posters have had their negative comments for me: in the beginning, I was supposedly too "fluffy" and wrote nothing substantial, then when I started taking an interest in politics, I was advised to lighten up. Along the way, I've been called a blatant, shameless marketer and self-promoter, too. But none of that stopped me from expressing myself here, and I certainly never complained. I actually enjoy getting into a scuffle every now and then, it's fun for me and I don't take it seriously....and perhaps that's why no one has ever cried out that I was getting "more than my fair share" of bashing.
