I woke up to kind of suprise this morning, and thought some of you might be interested in knowing this, so I decided to pass it along. Any way I received an email today from americanmale.net telling me that as of Nov. 1st. they would be charging all escorts for advertising placement on their website.

 

So there we have it folks, news in a flash. Guess I'll have to get the credit cards ready, I have been advertising there for about 2 years and it's been one of my best websites outside of this one of course.

Yep, I heard the same thing today from an escort. Their "introductory rate" will be $36/year, but they say "the price may increase at any time." At least they're not going from zero to $29.95/month ($39.95 for premium placement) like Men4RentNow did. Still, I think it's a given that AmericanMale's listings will drop. Anyone want to take bets on how long the "introductory rate" will last before it increases? ;-)

 

The good news, of course, is that unless the Nationwide/Cupcake frauds want to pay the freight for all of "their bois", they'll have to find a new site to perpetrate their scam. :+

If I had a goose laying golden eggs I'd manage to keep it in 'chicken feed' as long as it kept producing. Making dollars on pennies is a no brainer. I would think the only serious issue for them is the payment paper trail

I agree. It was always one of the best sites to get me clients, in addition to this one, but as I am slowing winding down, I will likely not advertise. I do think the $36 a "year" offer makes sense, even if they only offer it for the first year. It certainly is a small investment for any working escort to make and it gives you all that time to decide if you want to keep the ad when the site likely raises the rates.

 

However, I do think that if they are going to charge the escorts, they should not continue to charge the clients to view the shots in the "adult gallary."
