Know that you guys are probably sick of this topic but I got a big surprise today. Now, before I get started, I have to clarify. I only do overnites because I live in a very rural area and I don't like to travel, so my only recourse besides getting a boyfriend is to bring a guy in for the evening. Now in my experience, the rates for this really have no rhyme or reason. Except that if a guy comes from either coast (SF, LA or NYC) and is well known and well reviewed, it's usually $1200. If he's a pornstar, he may ask $1500. If he's not as well known, the rate is usually $1000. From Dallas or Portland, the rate is usually, $700-$800.

 

Well, today, I emailed a new guy on Men4rent. No reviews, no porn history, but from NY, so I expected around $1200, but was, of course, hoping for less. To my surprise, he said that his travel rate was $2000-$2500 for one night with additonal days available for $1800-$2000 per day. Who hires these guys? I mean, are these the guys that I have heard about that work only for closeted movie stars and politicians?

 

Totally respect his right to do business and set a price for his time, but I have never heard of anybody not working for Boysnextdoor or DF, asking for that kind of cash. If that's what the market can bear, I have to get the Hell out of the store. Or at least, shop more often in Portland.

well, i just came back from LA where i did three overnights and a 5 hour "afternooner"; the rates ranged from $2,000 to $800 for the overnights and $850 for the 5 hour "afternooner". what can i say, i'm a slut.

 

actually, i tend to hire for the weekend and bring people to me in the midwest as there is no one near me so i was trying out some of the LA locals to see who i would bring back home.

bottom line, the two highest priced guys were both the best; very professional by making sure i had a good time; both handsome and sexually wonderful in all respects. however, my personally matched the one guy the best. most people looking just for sex would be happy with the $800 guy just as well as with the $2,000 guy; i look for "more" than just sex.

the four men were:

as this thread is about price of escorts, i rate them as the $1,400 man number one by far; the $2,000 man number 2 but i suppect many would like the $800 man just as well and i would rank him third. finally, i would rank justin tyme number four and his overnight rate is $1,200. as far as money goes, price does not go with who gave me the best time. much is just the "chemistry" between two people.

Thanks, Big Joey. I've hired sporadically throughout my life because of the emotional convenience (and ended up dating an escort for two years), but never did an overnight. I think the rates for "overnight" and "24-hour" appointments have come down in the last couple years. I used to do almost exclusively overnights, and multi-day appointments-I think I had some corny subheading like "Overnight Perfection". I'd fly around the country and meet new or regular clients at the airport; it was very very very fun.

 

Up until I quit doing them about 1.5 years ago my overnight (approx 12-14 hour) rate was $1000, and 24-hours was $1500. 2 or 3 days would be $3000 and $4500 respectively (At my boyfriend's request I never went away for more than 3 full days, but even I wouldn't have had the testes to charge, say, $7500 for 5 days.)

 

I didn't charge these rates at random. Back in 99 and 2000 when the economy was strong, this is what other, top-tier (whatever the heck that means :-) ) were charging, so I did too. I actually remember, back in say 2000, reading about many west and east coast escorts whose rate was $2k/overnight, and I think I felt rather proud of myself for undercutting them!!!

 

But it seems as if the trend now is not to differentiate much between the overnight rate and the 24-hour rate, both hang around $1000.

the other men i see run $1,000 for an overnight which ends up 24 hours so rod is correct that at least for me the two rates have merged.
