Very interesting math indeed. Last I heard, their primary (possibly only) method of collecting deposits was PayPal. If so, PayPal seems newly poised to deactivate any accounts with the faintest of ties to their list of banned activities.

 

While these dollar ranges sound impressive, criminal enterprises of much larger scale go uninvestigated and unprosecuted due to a lack of law enforcement resources. Sad, but that's the cold, hard reality of the situation.

As of today the web site still appears to be working.Several weeks ago I wrote to "Bondbon" who advertises on American Male as a Charleston based escort. The response that I received was the standard Cupcake form letter. To entertain myself wrote back to the Cupcake email saying that I was going to be in Charleston for a weekend, could we hook -up.. Mr. Cupcake did not answer that day and so I wrote back to "Bondbon" at "his" email address saying that his agency was unprofessional for not answering in a prompt and timely manner.This was Mr. Cupcake's letter back to me:

LOL Twit fag our "clients" can be emailed pics and info if needed - they'll accept anything (oh we're in the middle of redoing a site, etc.), we can upload an entire site in three minutes, It takes less time for us to do an ENTIRE site, than it takes someone to report it. But now that's moot.

 

What's really funny is that three people reading posts about us on the boards this week STILL sent money. LOL And most don't even use Hooboy. Hooboy is just a few queens (out of millions upon millions out there) with no lives who all spend their nights on the site until their social security checks come in so they can go solicit for prostitution.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would support -- much less compliment -- a scam artist like whoever is behind Nationwide.

 

Since you're here at M4M, one assumes that you, too, must have hired the occasional escort. One can further assume that if you had been scammed in the process, you would have been upset and most likely started a thread loudly condemning the scammers.

 

But your reaction to other guys being scammed is to say that the scammer is "pretty darn good".

Further, it betrays an ignorance of what is going on with the Nationwide scam. Virtually every "nationwide" model I've seen pictures of at American Male Escorts has been a robust young guy, usually around 6', 175, claiming to be (and looking like) he is in his early 20s. So, rather than chasing pedophiles, Nationwide is going after guys who are looking for adult escorts in their 20s.

 

From time to time, posts like the one you made above will show up here. And when they do, I sometimes wonder what the author's goal was when he made the post?

 

Was he trying to appear witty? Was he trying to amuse himself with his rapier-like wit? Was he trying to feel superior by looking down on mere mortals? Was he trying to hurt others? Was he, troll-like (see Daddy's definition of "trolls"), trying to inspire some mad punch-and-counterpunch? Or was his post simply a sad reflection of some part of his personality?

 

In the end, I always decide that it's impossible to tell and move on. But it's a bit a sad, nonetheless.
