Yes it is, and very telling. Take note of the fact that Travis#2's "rave reviews" are from first time reviewers, and his negative reviews are from persons who have posted multiple reviews. Also, notice in each of Travis's responses to negative reviews, he trashes the client by the same method....questioning their personal hygiene. It seems pretty obvious that Travis isn't very original in his thinking. You can bet that the responses of Travis will do more to hurt his business than the negative reviews themselves. Some people are their own worst enemies.

You summed up just what I was thinking. It seems that mentioning a client's "bad hygiene" is an easy way to try to turn the negative review around (although I'm sure it can be a legitimate problem in some cases).

Just re-read his reviews. The first two are negative. Numbers 3 and 4, written about a month apart, both by a first time reviewer, are written by the SAME person. Check it out. The scene, as well as the vicabulary to describe the scene, are too similisr.

I have done many reviews on the board and I did see Travis with another escort in NY several months back.

 

I haven't reviewed him mostly because I've been busy at work and really haven't had the time. I had a good time with him and he is massively hung, topped me and bottomed for me and the other escort topped both of us.

I saw Travis last night and had a great time. (We had previously scheduled our tentative appointment prior to the appearance of "farmdude's" review.) I've been posting reviews on this website for over a year--including a second review for one particular escort in Philadelphia I've seen eight times-- so I'm not a first-time reviewer. I hired Travis #2 about 6 months ago for a 2 hour session in NYC. I would agree that he was definately the person in the pictures that he presented, but they were not an accurate representation of his current physical condition.

 

At the time I hired him, he was not in the same condition as pictured. He was much older than 24, in my opinion. As Farmdude mentioned, he never took off his bandanna. Obviously capped teeth--very noticeable. Not even close to the physical condition represented. No way.

 

Worse, however, was his total lack of engagement. He was not reciprocal in the very least. He didn't get hard, and seemed tired and disinterested. I tried to get him up and interested for almost an hour, and then lost complete interest when he was unable to perform as a top---one of the things I specifically told him I wanted, and the only reason I hired him for 2 hrs.

 

After less than 60 minutes into our planned 2 hour session, I cut the appointment short, gave him his one hour fee, and asked him to leave.

 

I felt that he grossly misrepresented his appearance, physical condition, his abilities and capabilities as a hot top.

I am not aware of any law indicating that any of us must post reviews of the escorts whose time we have enjoyed. Reviews are a merely a courtesy, and for a well-written and informative review we can all give thanks. For those of us who choose not to write and submit a review, we wish you would, but can understand that you probably have your reasons for not doing so. For those of us who prefer the Forums to inform and discuss with each other our experiences, we can also give thanks, even though we wish you'd write and submit a review instead ... the content is less ephemeral and easier to find in the future.

 

I think the best accompaniment to any review, first time or not (or any posting for that matter), is a few grains of salt. Our experiences of these escorts is highly subjective, and as subject to the oddities of the moment as all sexuality is.

I don't understand the attitude.

 

I don't review every escort I see. If they are OK, not exceptionally bad or exceptionally good and people might have a good time with the escort I probably won't submit a review. This has been the case with around a half dozen escorts I've seen over the last several months.

 

If the escort is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad I almost always submit a review. Matt and Mason in NYC were exceptional so I submitted a review. Another pair of escorts I saw that weekend were exceptionally bad so I submitted a review. All the times I have seen Kristian in Philadelphia he has been one of the most outstanding escorts ever so I have submitted a review every time (with the exception of one visit since it was within a year of the last review).

 

If someone comments about and escort and they have seen them but not submitted a review for one or more reasons that doesn't invalidate their account of the experience in a message thread. I saw Travis - he was OK - not my cup of tea but not oustanding or horrible for me.

 

I'm sure the poster that berated people for not submitting reviews has not submitted a review for every escort encounter he has had.

Another thing I noticed about his positive reviews is that they are all from guys who are youngish and gym toned (well, if you believe that they are real reviewers). Beyond being first time reviewers, one "red flag" I look for is an escort who only seems to get positive reviews from guys who are of similar age and body build to the escort. I would hope that an escort could have a satisfying encounter when being paid to have sex with someone they might choose to have sex with for free, but what about if *I* were paying him (an out of shape guy in his 40's)?

I found the answer disturbing. I felt he knew that if he was not what was claimed there would be a problem. It was also my feeling that he was referring me to reviews that he had probably written himself - I am always a bit jaded when it comes to great reviews that are first time reviews that are contradictory to other reviews.

 

Obviously his body is not like the photos…..being ‘sharp’ for a photographer to sell yourself when it is not the normal condition is a cheat as far as I’m concerned.

 

Also, too many people have mentioned the hat or ‘do-rag’. For me it is like wearing socks and a wristwatch for the session (unless of course socks or wristwatches are your thing).

 

I have a rule…..if something seems ‘wrong’, it usually is. I did not go through with the appointment.

That was not the point, whatsoever.

 

The point was that if you have something to add and/or detract about an escort you've been with, that you didn't strongly feel required a review, but now have an overwhelming need to state, then you should do it via a private to the inquiring poster, and not come to the public forum here and state that "something", that "something" being unverifiable via the review processes in place and that "something" being a route that can be used to both abuse/tout an escort and mislead clients unfairly.

Does this mean that you are satisified with his published response or does it mean that you are satisified with his explanation given in personal discussion with you? And if the latter then does that comport well the the published response?
