Why don't Websites/Agencies make Escorts provide new Photo annually???

It is truly shocking to me to see how many photos of Escorts on websites are the exact same photos I've seen of them from the mid to late 90's. Why don't Websites require Escorts to provide new photos annually? I have completely stopped hire Escorts who continue to use the same Pics year after year. It has been my experience that more often than not you discover when they come to your door that they stoppped working out 2 years ago or they now have thinning hair or other signs of aging.

 

If you want to charge the premium rate of a true proffesional, you should employ honest advertising standards. There is simply no excuse for using old photos to advertise your services. If you are charging $200.00 an hour, you can afford to get updated photos.

 

Take a page from the Top Escorts in the business with multiple great reviews. They also always update their Pics.

I just ran across some old Bay Area Reporter newspapers. (That's the freebie gay newspaper from San Francisco.) I have an issue from two weeks ago, and was quite surprised to find three ads which have not changed since 1996! One of which advertises as a "cute 20 year old". While I think we're all cute 20 year olds in our hearts, our mirrors may not reflect quite the same reality.

 

That said, you do have a good idea. Requiring photos to be updated occasionally would go a long way toward enhancing the credibility of escort referral sites. Keep in mind, however, that an awful lot of escorts come and go pretty quickly. An awful lot of guys do this for a brief period while they need some extra cash then vanish from the scene forever.

Probably for one of two reasons:

 

For pay sites like rentboy, the escorts are the customers. How many business tell customers what they must do to purchase their services.

 

For free sites the escorts provide FREE content that attracts traffic. How many online sites get bitchy with their unpaid content providers.

 

Even though sites would probably like updated data, I dont think you are likely to see sites exercising a lot of discipline here.

Particularly the free sites should certainly insist on updated photos annually. Bottom line whether it is a pay site or free site, Escorts need these sites to reach out to clients.
