Funny how even "having no other info" Skins still decided to give this kid a Cupcake rep. I noticed lately, before the boards crashed, that almost every new escort being introduced here was instantly blamed to be with Cupcakes. Of course later, that was discovered to be untrue.

 

Seems to me, that the paranoia level is getting out of control in here. If you have some actual data, that would suggest they are fake then please give that and let the escort be exposed, but this bullshit about instantaneously blaming someone has become like a witchhunt with the weak-minded masses ready to swoop. I bet he/they are setting back laughing off their asses at Cupcakes after seeing how legendary they have become in here and how many are acting like fools blaming everyone. Several guys have become too skittish and have become puppets to their Cupcake masters.

 

The poster who was looking for info on Cupcakes, the one with a collection agency, has conveniently disappeared after getting the info from us. Although suspicious, I'll withhold judgment on that...the guy could be on vacation or something. Yes, this borders on my own paranoia,lol.

 

The fact of the matter is, some of you guys have ALREADY exposed Cupcakes (bless you!). Keep the heat on, but also realize that the police or postal authorities aren't going to do anything unless someone who was actually taken and suffered losses steps forward BUT who is going to do that? They'll have to admit to their own crime and face exposure in their own community. It's been a long time since my pre-law classes and I ended up not pursuing law, but I seem to remember that a person involved in their own illegal action, like solicitation, cannot claim to be a victim of fraud. Even if solicitation was carefully avoided, the cops aren't going to be too keen on anyone trying to pass their activities off as the innocent seeking of non-sexual services. It may work with PayPal, but a cop is going to know what really went on and if someone tried to glide over their actions or deny they were seeking a prostitute, then by the time it was all done and said, someone is going to jail for lying to the cops or committing perjury in court. We can pray maybe the Cupcakes people, get picked up in an independent sting or something unrelated to any of our users.

 

I seem to remember several clients of the Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss having lives and reputations destroyed. Cupcakes may not be running an actual escort service, but the stains are still there. Sadly, I can foresee a great many people being ruined when Cupcakes goes down. There are paperwork trails obviously. I bet not too many people will be pleased when their involvement with Cupcakes comes out. Prosecutions are highly public in something like this. There are no anonymous victims or witnesses, their information and activities will be part of the public record and the scandal will get media attention. No wife, employer, family member or neighbor is going to be pleased to hear the "victim" has been seeking young male prostitutes. Fortunately, many of us know not to get taken. Yet, I myself have responded to their ads at least, even if that has been the extent of it. I wonder if things get real messy with this how deep an investigation will go. Will my own emails to their imaginary escorts be tracked and will my info go public? Hard to tell at this point, but when you play with fire, lol.

 

There's that pesky paranoia this room has created slipping in again, lol.

 

Frequent posts in here about Cupcake activity needs to occur and continue. Hopefully, some people will actually go by them. It's always saddest when people who have been in here for awhile and who should know better STILL get taken! It's one of the things I've noticed. For countless months theres been Cupcake info available, but still we hear from our fellow boarders how they "just got taken". Could that be an effect of this witchhunt? By blaming every escort, we seem to be diminishing the whole system.

 

We need more real thinking in here about this and less Chicken Little bullshit. :7

I have not, "conveniently disappeared," and I did not receive any info from you. Therefore, I am unclear what you mean when you refer to "us."

 

At this point I will not address the lack of merit in your post. What I will say to those who actually did supply information and / or sent me encouragement is I'm very close to finding this guy. We live in a fast food society and skip tracing takes a bit of patience. My interest from the start has been to bring this person out in the open and we can go from there.

 

As many regulars on this board might remember I am in the process of relocating to Las Vegas. I haven't had as much time the past week and will not have a lot of time the following two weeks to work on this case. But it is far from pushed to the side and I'm still very confident that the man stealing from so many gay men will be exposed.
