Just want to say “Thank You” (I know, I know - I’ve gotten carried away with this Miss Manners thing) to all those who replied here with universally cogent thoughts (well, except maybe for HB when he’s into “green tea”). In any case, I shall continue to write my notes afterwards to express appreciation for happy times (Mother knew best), be gratified with the responses I get, and admire those who send their own spontaneous notes.

 

And as doug60640 said “…I can understand why it may take them longer to send a note than it takes an old retired guy like me who spends too much time in front of the computer.” :+
