For those of you using American Male Escorts to search for Dallas escorts should look closely at Hot Toddy Live and note that I believe he is the same as Todd Hayden in Dallas on the Cupcake Escort site.

 

I first saw the Hot Toddy ad (American Male) for the first time about a week ago, then it was removed for a couple of days, now it's back up. I was going to make contact with him but something about his ad just smelled like a Cupcake.

 

Just like all Cupcake Escorts, he's a cutie. Anyone know who this guy really is or where he is located?

The Cupcake scam continues in full force!! The effort put in by whoever is running this scam must certainly be paying off for them. As they say, there's a sucker born every minute! (Pun very much intended )

 

My question would be this.... Why are there SO many supposed "ads" for them on American Male? Do they have to pay for those now, or what is the current status for escort listings on American Male? Under the assumption that they have to pay - how is it that American Male allows the ads to continue? Or perhaps they have not yet been notified that it is a scam to separate potential customers from their money before you can say "Dallas, OKC, Wichita, etc" ??

 

Incidentally, I just happened to be scanning the NYC listings on American Male. Without much effort at all, I found at least five "Cupcake Guys" in as many minutes.

Very simple. AmericanMale doesn't screen for fakes/flakes. Why should they? They get paid for the listings. End of story. If you want more info, look at the Reviews here, or ask for other info here. That's what this site is for. }(

Actually, I don't think AmericanMale is charging right now.

 

A couple of clicks, and a couple of pictures (anyone's) and you too could have an ad.

 

With that model, more ads means more viewers. Why should they police them?

Yeah I suppose that's true unfortunately. And apparently American Male and Cupcake Escorts are following similar business plans, i.e. take the money and run!!!

I have hired my fair share of escorts over the years and have been pretty fortunate in avoiding being scammed for the most part although I admit that I did get burned one time in the early days but learned my lesson (expensive lesson). Since then I have relied on the help of HooBoy to minimize the risk (I realize it is not possible to eliminate it, except to swear off using escorts and I am not quite ready for that). Having said that I venture out every so often on the web and see what is new. As most would, I was immediately interested in Toddy when I saw his advert and thought I would see what kind of possibilities existed. I did not check the threads about Cupcake until later so that would have saved some time. I must admit the web sites are fantastic and help make it look a bit more legit but as everyone knows now, it is all a scam. Toddy started off nice and then referred me to Rodger at Cupcake who then spelled out the "policy" of a retainer for the meeting. Bells, whistles, flags, etc went off right away and that is when I finally checked the message center and found out. Anyway, after saying I would cancel and letting Toddy know as well, within seconds of each other I got an email from both. Cupcake was polite and said no problem. Toddy said he got a call from Rodger and then went on with some degrading and insulting remarks about me. Anyway, a quick check proved that both emails were coming from the same source/connection. That sealed the fate for this whole thing. My level of caution has gone up and I just hope the message on this gets out quickly so they are shut down and driven out of town (preferably tarred and feathered).

Lets clarify this: AmercanMale is NOT taking money. Cupcake is. Those are radically different business models. :-)
