Hi,

 

I'm thinking about getting an escort for the first time. Is the price listed in the reviews the total for all services? Or what's an hour gone to cost me.

Rates listed on reviews are usually for hourly services, but it's best NOT to assume that they're the current rates. For example, my rate is now $150 for either in or outcall (up from $120 in/$140 out), but I don't believe any of my recent reviews reflect this change. So, be sure to ask the escort in which you're interested if his rates are the same as listed. Have fun!

There is a section which also states "Session" and, as you can see, some reviews are for varied time frames. Some are overnights, some evenings, and others for more than one hour. Also, some escorts have the same rate for multiple hours, others give a discount for subsequent hours (as I do). Nearly all escorts give reduced rates (as contemplated versus the hourly rate) on longer hour hires, such as evenings and weekends. Finally, some escorts have IN and OUT call rates which are different and some escorts requests travel fees for OUT calls, depending on how far they might have to drive.

 

Another thing you and any new clients needs to keep in mind is that some escorts may have increased their rates if the review is not fairly current. The best thing to do is to contact the escort directly, an e-mail is probably the easiest and most convenient way to do so, and ask them what their current hourly rate. You might want to create a new e-mail account just to contact escorts, on one of the e-mail sites such as Yahoo or Hot Mail.

 

One thing to pay attention to as far as rates go, are escorts who do not have an all-inclusive rate. The consensus, between both escorts and clients, is that an escort that wants to charge a client based on particular services requested (such as an ala carte menu - so much for a blow job, so much for topping, etc.) are not much more than hustlers and are best avoided.

 

Finally, ASK plenty of questions and make sure all your concerns and needs are discussed, to ensure a good experience.

Actually, it is a 12 to 14 percent raise. As someone who has been telling our boy Jeff his rate is too low for months, I also want to point out most Columbus escorts ask for 150 so his prior rate was lower than most Columbus escorts, in spite of his experience and reputation. Finally, unlike a number of escorts (myself included), Jeff is very expansive with his view of "grandfathering" clients. When we discussed his rate increase recently on the telephone, he let me know he has a client he has been seeing for many years who still pays Jeff the going rate Jeff was asking for at that time, which is well below what Jeff raised his rates to or raised his rates from.

Well, Lucky, in 12 years of escorting, I've only raised my rates twice. As Franco mentioned, my regular clients are still paying whatever my rate was when they first hired me, unless they've taken it upon themselves to pay me my current going rate, as some have so kindly done. At $150 I'm more in line with what most escorts are charging here in Columbus (there are many more escorts working now than when I first started) and still less than most escorts in NYC, LA and other cities.

 

Also, as I've eased into retirement from escorting, I've invested money and alot of my time into a personal training studio/tanning salon with my former trainer. 30 hours a week at the gym and a few clients a week is enough for me.:-)

The financial aspect of an appointment can be very stressful for both client and the escort. I recommend you be very direct and upfront about the fees when selecting your escort and making the appointment. Make sure he (or they) do everything you are looking for and there is a common understanding of the price before the session starts.

Franco has good advice, but there are a few other things to be said. Escorts who work for agencies usually keep strictly to the time frame, and you will probably be charged an extra hour if you exceed the time limit, so it's not always a bad thing to have an escort who is a "clockwatcher". Independent escorts tend to be much more flexible. I have had many experiences in which I contracted for a one hour meeting, but it lasted longer with no extra charge (sometimes several hours longer). On the other hand, independents are also more likely to charge full price for a shortened encounter than an escort from a reputable agency will. Remember that an agency escort has to split his fee with the agency, so he will probably hope for a tip as well, and if he is good, he probably deserves one.

 

It is always best to explain in advance what you expect to pay for what length of time, as well as what sort of sex you hope to engage in during that time. (That doesn't mean saying, "I want fourteen minutes of cocksucking followed by ten minutes of fucking, and then...", but if there are specific activities that you hope to enjoy during an hour or two, you should say so, since you don't want to be just getting into it when time's up. And if you can only afford to spend a certain amount, be upfront about it.)
