Maui, Escorts, gay restaurants, bars ??

I'm heading to Maui for a week or so in January. Any advice or recommendations for escorts, gay or gay friendly restaurants, bar's? I've heard there's not much goin on there, but a man has to try. :-)

Your best bet is to bring someone with you. There are a couple of escorts in Honolulu, but not of real quality. I go to Hawaii all the time and it is not a great source for local talent. The best Maui vacation I had was when I brought my favorite escort with me from California.

I loved Maui, but its gay scene was extremely lacking. My good friend and travel partner went to a gay bar on two occasions; both times it was Dead (with a capital D). The best gay experience that we had was to go to Makena (not spelled correctly)Beach at the state park and walk west to the area which is frequented by folks (gay and straight) who like to be nude.

There was some gay activity amongst the huge rocks farther west and some cruising; it's a safe climb!

Unfortunately, I haven't ever been to Maui ;( so, I can't really give you any advice or recommendations. However, with the recent cold snap here in DC (brrrrrrrr!) I couldn't help but dream of the bright white beaches, the crystal blue water, and the beautiful sunny skies!!!! I hope you have fun what ever you end up doing - I know I would! }( :9

the one bar i know of from a previous trip, Bloody Mary's, has since closed to the best of my knowledge. might try gayhawaii.com if it's still in operation for info....thinking of a return trip myself, but to the big island and maybe kauai this time (perhaps a night or two in waikiki)
