There is a review today for Jim Bentley which claims that it is the one-time Falcon pornstar, now in his 40's. I am quite certain that I read reports of his death from AIDS a long time ago. Can anyone enlighten me?

This reviewer is a very strange duck.Both Nathan Hamilton and Rod Hagen have called his veracity into question.He never says anything downright nasty-but always puts in little things which make the review less than positive.And also(according to Hagen and Hamilton)fabricates details of the visit.

So,to the escortts out there,if this guy post a review that is not 100% accurate please let HooBoy know so that he can br flagged.

Hey Big Guy... I'm hoping that I can address your points without the cattiness that I seem to read in some of the postings.

 

I try to call them as I see them (during my experience) and any reader can decipher on his own as I do. I find the reviews on this site extremely valuable and would like to help other clients make their own decisions based on others points of view.

 

There are some very sterling reviews (Jason Markus; Michael Brandon; Ryan Holmes, just to name my favorites); and there are some not so positive reviews from my choices before I used this site more steadily.

 

I'm curious as to what fabrications Rod might be referring to. Rod was furious that I submitted what I did. I just called out that he didn't have an 8-9 inch dick as a previous reviewer had stated. I hashed out a couple points with Rod and I think I would look bitchy if I brought them all up here.

A good resource when you want to confirm a porn star's ... err ... demise is the Dead Porn Star list at http://www.rame.net -- they only list a death if it's officially confirmed. It's a depressing list, but it's fairly reliable.

I had read about Mike Henson's death, but actually seeing his name on the list of Dead Porn Stars felt like going to a cemetary and seeing a friend's name on a tombstone. "More of a Man" with Henson and Joey

It is quite possible he was only doing a little bit of work in the South Florida area and does not escort in Southern California. When he lived full time in San Francisco at the same time I did and could have asked for very high rates, he never escorted, at least not on his own and by directly advertising.

 

If he is escorting in Palm Springs, you might find his advertisement in the Desert Daily Guide (which apparently recently went on line but I have yet to see their web site) or in Pulp, whose ads can be found on the Bottom Line magazine web site. He does not advertise in Frontiers, either as Jim Bentley or with a photographs that appears to be Jim Bentley.

 

There is no indication he is listed, at least under the name "Jim Bentley" on the web as an escort.

 

The review lists a telephone number; albeit the number listed is one in the 954 area code (Fort Lauderdale), so may very well be for the resort mentioned in the review, versus a personal number.

His website is apparently http://www.jimbentleyxxx.com, although you know how easy it is for anyone to buy a domain and put up a website. (Kevin Williams has been fighting to get his back ever since another Kevin Williams grabbed it during a period of expiration.) Still, someone went to a LOT of trouble to put up a 20-year videography for him, with a LOT of details about each video.

 

The "items for sale" page at the above domain lists the same Lauderdale phone number, with a business street address in Palm Springs. Since you know PS better than I, perhaps you could check it out next time you're down there.
