Can we all agree that George/London is at least 20?

He's been reviewed for over two years now. Are we going to agree that he's at least 20, and adjust the review accordingly, or are we going to admit that this site promotes escorting children (or at least it did in 2001)? I mean, we can't always catch escorts when they're lying, but we should at least correct lies which are mathematically impossible.

just accept the age is like "aol inches"; a while back i got into trouble with the infamous "sean world escort" for saying he was in his upper 30's when advertising his age as 29 (he had been 29 for a number of years); then about a month later there was a thread about "rounds" in new york and sean wrote about his experiences there about 20 years earlier and intimate involvment with the owner. it did not take a math wiz to figure out that he was not 29 and i again called him on it. after that, i just accepted that there would be some under count. the funny thing is that for me, i tend to like older, mature men and i look for them.

I think this post is slightly vilifying and accusatory, and perhaps unintentionally, seems to reflect some kind of displeasure over this particular escort rather than an annoyance at innacuracies in advertising.

 

To clear this escorts name before I move on to the point, George, while however old he may be, looks barely 18. He should get carded just buying bubble gum. The only way one could suspect him of being older is perhaps by his intellect, but certainly not appearance. He's incredibly adorable, and one of the sweetest, most genuine boys I've ever met.

 

That said, an escort has no control over reader submitted reviews. Many times reviewers just look at previous entries for statistical info such as age, height, etc. This is understandable, as to me the idea of reviews has always been to determine whether the escort someone's potentially hiring is legitimate, professional, and just plain fun. To accuse the escort of lying is a little harsh.

 

I also know this site wouldn't condone a minor escorting, which is irrelevant as the site assumes time is all that is sold, and you can hire someone of any age for time.

Although I understand the point. Either he was a minor when he started or he's older. True, it's not that he is saying how old he is, but Campus is advertising he's 18, and it's probably not correct.

This has long been a pet peeve of mine, and it's not just limited to this kid. Having been in the market for escorts for several years now (probably at least 10) I always have to laugh when I see escorts who have been around for years still advertising themselves at a much earlier age. Obviously youth sells I guess. But I hate feeling like I am being deceived. If he's lying about his age what else is he lying about? How trustworthy can this guy be if he won't even tell the truth about something as basic as his age? There's an escort here in DC who says he's 21 or 22, but I had an appointment with him at least 7 or 8 years ago. Where were you when I needed you about five months ago? I criticized an escort who advertises on this site for lying about his age. He admitted to lying about his age in his ads. Further, his pics were not up to date. I stressed that the issue was not how he appears, but that I want to know the truth if I'm going to hire an escort. If you purchase any service or product, you want to know the facts, right? A car may look like new, but you want to know how old it really is. A person may look younger, but you want to know how old he really is. I stressed that the issue was not that he didn't appear younger; he did. In fact, I also stressed that I had no problem with his real age. The issue is truth in advertising!!!

 

The escort justified it by saying he told clients his real age when he saw them. He also stated that Aaron Lawrence's book on escorting said it was ok to add 5 years to your age. Whoopee doo! (Apparently, this is the standard on AOL.) I'm sorry, but this is a crock. I was very disappointed and appalled that not one person supported me on this issue, though I had support on other issues. Perhaps, it was just a case of who was reading the thread at that time. Or, perhaps it's a reflection of the widespread opinion in our society that lying is ok. You're right when you say if an escort lies about his age, what else is he lying about? Tell the truth. Let the pics speak for themselves.

Mistatement of age is fairly standard by escorts, so I personally don't have a problem with that. Outdated photos, of course, is definitely uncalled for, so if an escort shows up looking nothing like his advert photos, then just politely end the session before it begins.

 

If the escort's current advert photos look like what you encounter, then what is your dissapointment? Do you card your escorts at the door? Do you dismiss them because they are 23 rather than their adverised age of 21? Maybe they advertise being 21 rather than 23, because 23 is way, way too old to be hired by some clients that are hung up on age! Yeah, like you can physically tell someone who is 23 from someone who is 21? Regardless of the escort's true age, if he looks like his advert pictures, which attracted you enough to hire him, then what difference does his true age make?

 

Of course, you might be one of those clients, who hire a barely legal escort, because he looks 14, and then shows up looking his true age of 19! You know what I mean, as these type of clients deep down inside don't want an escort that looks 14, they want a true 14 yo boy!

But they are too afraid to admit what they are truly seeking.

A bullshitted lie is bullshit from wherever it comes. Two wrongs don't make a right. I personally don't like under-21 escorts, but no one deserves getting lied to. Unfortunately, escorts also often put up pictures which are years old (it would be nice if they dated their pictures). It's easy to say "just walk away if he doesn't look like his picture" (which I've done), but this means a great waste of time, and a potential confrontation. The fact that it's done all the time definitely doesn't make it right.

For God's sake, these escorts should take a little pride in themsleves. Look, I'm 32, these pictures are from 9/03, and don't I look great! Be proud of keeping your good looks!

In other words, what you're saying is that you don't care if people lie? I think the point of my reply in this thread is getting lost here. I don't care what the standard is. That doesn't make it right. If a standard is bad, it needs to be criticized and changed. There are a lot of things in the world which are "the standard." Is it ok that most used car salesmen lie through their teeth? After all, that's the standard. If it's the standard to torture people to get information, is that ok? Is suicide bombing ok? After all, that's the standard in terroist groups. The issue is telling the truth here. TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!!! As I've said before, would you want someone to lie to you about a product you're purchasing on the basis that it's the standard? And again, as another member and I have said, if a person lies about one thing, what else is he lying about?
