I got an interesting telephone call from a salesman who stated he was calling on behalf of Men 4 Rent Now, calling to remind me that I could still "earn extra money" by upgrading my ad. I told him I was not sure why he was calling me since I had temporarily suspended my ad over a month previously.

 

The salesman then started to give me a pitch about all the opportunies I was missing out on when I politely cut him short and told him I was not interested at this time and disconnected the call.

 

I thought it interesting they were spending the time and energy essentially cold calling, as they had previously sent a number of e-mails which had clearly not bounced back to them. I am sure if I had kept the salesman on the telephone, I probably could have, in the words of one my friends, "worked him" for some financial benefits.
