Yesterday a review of Ben Denver in London said that although he advertises as 33/34 years old, he actually looks 31/32.

Thanks! This issue has always been one of my "pet peeves", regardless of whether it was a client/escort situation or just a one on one personals ad.

 

This is just about the stupidest crap of all. Someone asks for a partner between 18 and 25 and the hottest man God ever bestowed on Earth is 26 and you are going to dismiss him as 1 year over your limit?

 

People who post such ads only reflect on the narrowness of their own minds and shallowness of their own souls.

Pyell, I was about to make exactly the same response when I read that review. It's so illogical that one wonders if it is intended as misguided flattery ("You're 33? You don't look a day over 32!")

Well, obviously he's trying to make himself older in his ads so he'll be more attractive... or maybe so that you'll be sure that you can take him to a bar with you. Clients wouldn't want to get stuck with a green 32-year-old. :+

 

Reminds me of the occasion on this board several years ago when people were arguing over whether a certain twink in San Francisco, who had become the subject of a lot of controversy, was actually 17 or 18 (or was it 18 or 19?) solely on the basis of how he looked his review pic.[/] :+ :+
