Oh I misworded that. I really didn't mean to say that it's not what it, um, appears to be. Please accept my apologies if my initial post seems that way. Just the picture itself is kinda odd. Some tome ago I started about the use of camera angles that distort. I noted that often escorts appear taller in pics if they are lying down, and the pic is shot from the toe to the head. These Ethan pics are also obviously distorted by the camera angle of the pictute, and the proximity to the dick when it was taken. i think the problem you're having with the pic is really just a matter of a crappy photographer (me!), sparky. the flash on that digital camera is very bright (as flashes are wont to be). i think the general room lighting was relatively low. i sat the camera on my desk, used the timer function, stood back (but not very far), and waited. perhaps the low ambient lighting plus intense flash combined to give the lack of background you mentioned. but hey, the room was a mess & i wouldn't want a whole lot of that showing.

 

if there are doubts as to my physical attributes, contact my latest reviewer. i believe he has posted under the same name used in the review.

Lots of people like close-ups which is what it is. I'm more a fan of the longer view myself. But let's face it, Ethan is selling dick and he has plenty to sell. i was standing right next to a chair that is 4.5 to 5 feet from the desk on which the camera sat. that's not an especially close-up shot. i turned slightly to the side because i didn't want a dead-on frontal shot, nor a completely side-on shot, since both are available on my website. there was no manipulation at all.

Perception and Reality

 

As any number of escorts have commented on this board, it is not easy to take or find someone else to take a serviceable or competent photograph of ourselves. There are often pictures I like that others do not and pictures others like which I do not (for example, my fully dressed review photo from last spring, where Little Woodie and Donnie both attacked me as looking as a former govenor of New York and a former non-French speaking actor from a 1960s television sitcom).

 

I always have people who have met me, clients, friends, fellow escorts, etc., preview some of the new photographs of myself and help with the selection process, although I always make the choice myself.

 

Almost a year ago, I met Ethan and can offer the following descriptive comments from personal observation and experience: none of his photographs he had on his site then (and I assume they are largely the same now) gave you a good sense of his build. Ethan's height is proportionate with his body because he is otherwise very slight and slim.

 

Except for the lack of average height and weight, he looks very much like most of the guys of his age that I have encountered and/or personally know.

 

Finally, the problem with dick shots (particulary images of hard ons) is that everyone wants to see one but they are not highly attractive in most photographs, particularly in close up, which is how most everyone wants to see them.
