I've been working in this business for long enough to know that the money comes fairly easy. As a canadian I have a currency exchange rate that is extremely favourable. Even though I've been making crazy money in this country and this business I have neglected my real dreams and aspirations. It's an easy thing to do when you are saving money and thinking that you are making progress because your bank accounts are increasing.

When I started this business I thought that life was about exotic cars, nice condos and parties. Although I have done my fair share of partying I have never really got in the drug and or even alcohol scene. So many escorts I've known have succumbed to these two life breakers and have quickly went down the drain. I did buy a very expensive car have always lived in the nicest apartments. Looking back in hindsite I realize how superficial these things are and how they have lacked the potential to actually make me happy.

It is scary to think that soon I will have to rely on my brain rather than my "cock". I know that I am intelligent and I have saved a majority of what I have made and have more than enough to start a business or buy an existing business. Who knows I may continue to supplement my income with a handful of regulars that I have graduated to the level friendship. To think that two of my friends (one being a mentor) have become very important parts of my life. A third has even offered me the position of intern in a very large "unnamed" money management firm on wallstreet. Of course it is an unpaid job, but would be an incredible resume builder and would also be a vast resource of knowledge and contacts.

I've learned in this business to take everything for face value as everyone has a motive (98% of the time) and will say anything they think you want to hear. I have never learned why some clients try to offer you the world when in fact they are full of bullshit. Maybe to get down your pants for free. Maybe it's because leading on a young stud turns them on. I've given up trying to figure it all out. I have though learned to believe none of what I hear and half of what I see. My grandmother always told me as a child to never count your chickens before the eggs hatch.

I have a client coming right now but consider this only an introduction as I have so much to spill.

There was no real motivation for this post. I just had a few things on my mind. There are very few people who know what I do, especially close friends. I'm just trying to portray a........viewpoint from my perspective. As for the counterfeiter comment. That was funny, but no I am not one of those. (sometimes I wish I was one) I am a guy that has made alot of money doing what I do for a length of time and I am saying I am nearing the end of my run and how I feel about it with some little extras thrown into the mix.

Aaron, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you but have had my fair share of positive experiences with escorts (along with a few bummers, but, hey, that's life!) to be able to relate to your comments. Especially about the easy and fast money. Of course, I see it from the other end. When I think of how much you guys make for time spent, it's up there with corporate lawyers and financiers, when you think of it (of course, you do not work their long hours and if you did, you would burn out quickly (but then, so do some of those corporate dudes as well!).

 

I'm glad you soon realized that drugs and alcohol were not the way to go and that fast cars and expensive digs, while nice, don't constitute the end-all and be-all of life. I didn't mean to say anything negative about clients as I am fully aware that the ratio of clients getting screwed from escorts far exceeds the number of escorts that are screwed by clients. I was only stating that in my time as an escort I've had so many people try to allure me with promises of money, cars and extravagant gifts. Although many escorts go this route, I am not one of them. The only thing I have taken from any clients is a fairly large business loan which I paid back on time with interest and a cosigner for my car which I also paid back. Both were from the same person, a person whom died two April 3/2001. We had gotten to be very close, he helped me in so many ways and guided me in the right direction. I will never forget him for that and if he can see this post from his computer screen in the sky I'd like to say thanks.

As for the tax evasion thing and the IRS, come on I did goto school for business and am fully aware that any money made cannot be used for a business or property within being able to ascertain where it in fact came from.

As for a visa, if you know the loopholes you don't need one. It's called having an international corporation (CDN) and also holding the ownership of a c-corp in the US. One can pay himself to the american corp and funnel the money right on down to canada. So I have paid taxes, retained almost all of my earnings in the american corp and when it eventually heads to canada also retain it in the business. Retained earnings tax is alot lowering than declaring income. The money I need I use for bills and such. Yes, I am intelligent and yes I'm a great planner.

I've had people say negative things about me all throughout my career. I've also had people say things that were so nice about me as well. I will only remember the nice things and the people that said them. This career has made me incredibly resilient and has taught me so many things. One of the things I have learned is that you can never make everyone happy. Also that you can never appeal to everybody either.

I am glad that so many of you enjoy my posts. I don't feel bad for the people that don't for they have the ability to skip anything that has my name attached to it. I mentioned in my other post that I was offered an intern postition in NY at a big money management firms by one of the partners. I am not at liberty to say the company name but considering I will be learning so much if I actually got the internship that it would be like going back to University. I will not yet count my chickens until they are hatched.

I can't argue with any of this, but why a Canadian Corp and not something "offshore"? Tax rates are fairly high in Canada upon distribution.

I've considered offshore but realized that with the amount of money that I have it would be fruitless. From the research that I had done I think someone would need a networth of atleast 1million in cash to make offshore investing worthwhile. Needless to say, Any wire that comes into canada that is 3,000 from an international source needs to be fully verified and investigated by the RCMP. Wiring money in and out of countries is a great way to get busted for not paying taxes and have people sniffing into exactly where and how you got it. Yes, tax rates are higher in Canada. The highest tax bracket is 52% in contrast to the US and their 38%(I'm not 100% sure of this one)Retained earnings are another totally separate issue. If you don't remove money from a corp. you pay a retained earnings tax as long as a personal revenue is not recorded. So I don't pay myself, I pay my corp and use all of my expenses to offset my corp tax.
