Question for Agencies Escorts

On 9/4 Hoo posted my review of Logan/NYC working with CampusEscorts. Today 9/5 I seen a new review for Logan#2 working for Chelsea Guys. Both reviews sounds 100% the same, in the second review it had parts that I did not say that were so true of the escort I seen but did not say anything in his review. I really don't care if he is working for two Agencies, if he is I got the better deal with Campus for $600 than with Chelsea for $900. My question is it normal for Agency Escorts to work for more than one.

I don't feel there are many cities in the States that have more than one major agency. I think your experience is because of the city visited.

 

The guys who work for my very small agency do not work for any other agency in SoCal. One of my escorts had several clients prior to meeting me and continues to see them as an independent.

It is not at all uncommon. I have seen some escorts on Campus and A-List at the same time, or Maximum on Campus. It is more common to see guys on Campus, Chelsea, Maximum and A-List also double-timing on Rentboy. As I understand it, the Agencies frown on the practice and try to enforce it through proprietary pics that the escorts are not supposed to use with another agency or Rentboy.

I have only "outed" one escort to his second agency when I could not recall his stage name and his pics had come down from the other agency and I could not find him on Rentboy. Why did you call Campus?

I think the "why did you call Campus" question referred to the call about Logan working for 2 agencies.

 

If you play with fire, you might get burned... so Logan has to put up with any problems he may create for himself. For although a few escorts have permission to work independently or with multiple agencies, most sign contracts for exclusivity.

 

That is what the "outed" was referring to.

A while back, it was actually quite common in Chicago to see guys listed with several agencies, advertising in Gay Chicago Magazine, running their own web ads, etc.

 

I noticed on this last trip back there that THE AGENCY is running individual ads for many of their boys. That's a smart move, I think. If you don't want the boys running ads, run ads for them. (It's actually what an agency SHOULD be doing, when you think about it.)

It is ok for an agency to run individual ads for the boys if the contact info on those ads is back TO the agency. Independent ads or different agencies is a different story. Imagine how you would feel as an agency owner if you paid to advertise for a boy, had your regular agency customers take recommendations from you to try an escort, only to have the escort allow a client to subsequently hire him outside the agency for a cheaper price and no agency commission. Wouldn't stay in business very long that way.

 

In this particular case, the angry agency would have to be Chelsea guys. They have an escort on their list who one of their "regular" customers hired (I assume regular because he is not listed on their website so had to get a personal recommendation). The person liked him and wrote a review. Now that person realizes he could hire the same kid from Campus for $300 less for the same service. Not only will he do that next time, but he has to feel a little displeased with his original escort agency.

I seen this escort over this past weekend again and I asked him a question on the two reviews. He stated that he works on porn web sites & live viedos that are owned by Chelsea Guys in NYC and must work when customers call those web sites to hire him. Also since Campus does not have a contract on him he is free to work where he wants since Campus does not give him enough work to live on:o
