Any luck getting email responses from M4RentNow?

Have any of you had any luck in getting back an email response from an escort listed on Men4RentNow? Maybe I am doing something wrong. The site does not list the direct email address of the escort, but allows you to hit a "send your email address" button which presumably sends your address to the escort. I have sent over 5 such requests over the last few weeks, never to receive even one reply.

Hey C O E -- based on my experience, it's a function of the escort not responding rather than the site's system not working. I've gotten several responses to my emails to guys listed there, but I've also had a few who've never responded even after a dozen emails from me.

 

That said, I think their contact system sux -- I'd rather be able to at least tell the escort something besides my name and my phone.

I think I've gotten a response or two, (it'd really help if escorts keep something about responding to your M4R inquiry in the email, otherwise it's hard to figure out who they are and why they're emailing you...), but it seems a fact of life in this business that the escorts get *a lot* of email from guys just collecting pictures or who otherwise have no intention of doing anything. It gets discouraging for the beginners. Plus it's been suggested that a lot of guys on M4rentNow aren't doing this as their main thing, just occasionally to make some $$$ as needed.

 

You're far more likely to get a response if you call them, though many escorts don't always answer their phone, so you may need to be ready to leave a number they can call you back at...

 

It's a pity, as email is far more convenient, and it seems the good escorts all respond to their email eventually, but it is a lower priority then phone messages for them as well. Email's also a way for an escort to loose potential clients, if they're curt or just send something generic in response to specific questions... I'd guess reading and responding to email is the most businesslike part of doing this as a career, and the ones that don't put in the time simply don't do as well.

Just so you all know, email from that site truly has a Junk mail look. And if the escort has his junkmail filteres on high, it's the kind of subject heading, domain, and message body taht would most lilkely get classified as spam. If he doesn't look at that stuff carefully enogh, it's gone. Just send the guy a normal email, not from a form, if you're able.

Quite a few actually... response rate 70%-80% out of 10-15 emails. Just like any other site -- quality guys and chaff too.

 

Email system sucks dead goats. :-(

Mr. Hagen, as can often be the case, has hit the proverbial nail on the head. A fair portion of my Men 4 Rent Now mail has been identified by Yahoo as spam, in spite of the fact that I keep selecting the "this is not spam, place incoming e-mails from this domain in my IN BOX" selection.

 

On the other hand, as pointed out by James and as noted in the "Shiney and New" thread, some of the escorts advertising in M4RN are part-time or "incidental" escorts. As has been discussed on this site before, even full time professional escorts are not as responsive as we would all like to be in dealing with our e-mail, but the consensus is: if we are not traveling, particularly not traveling with clients, all e-mail is answered within 24 to 48 hours. Obviously, we have to get the e-mail to answer it.

That's the problem, they don't give you any way of sending a normal email if they're the only place you've seen the escort. Has to go through them.

 

Having it classified as spam is a problem, but since it's money potentially being thrown away as spam it sounds like it'd be a good idea for escorts (especially ones that use this site) to tone-down or outright disablle spam filtering on the email acount they use for business. They could create a special address for the crappy system to use, that they don't use anywhere else so it doesn't get on spam lists...

As I have my own current information posted at Men4rentnow I can attest that mail generally gets to my inbox frequently and with efficiency. So I'd agree with the others who suggest that it may very well be the escort who hasn't or cannot respond.

 

However I will say that the site has certain flaw where contact info is involved. When I listed my ad their format prompted me for email contact, web address, as well as alternate phone contacts. My ad however does not contain my website, email contact, or alternate phone number. Doesn't bother me a bit though, since I am one who answers my email.

 

As escorts we do receive an incredible ammount of email from new potential clients who may or may not turn into appointments. Those of us who have ongoing relationships with existing clients receive even more. On top of that there are new websites all the time asking us to list ads with them and updates or improvements to sites that we already list with. Only recently those same websites have stared to actually call my personal cell phone, kinda spooks me out. JamesK840 hits on some good points. Among them that responsible escorts attend to this kind of mail with more punctuality thus producing more results and making themselves a cut above.

 

In answer to the other question James, almost every one of my emails turns into an appointment eventually. 99% The few that didn't seem to work out were due to conflict of schedule. Good thing too, because I have always had a hard time answering my phone with any regularity. I am always out of town or under the covers with one of you somewhere! hehehe

The reason escort not responding maybe because Men4RentNow.com isn't a free site they charging $29.95 per month, but most of the escort hate that site because Men4RentNow will not let customer having escort's e-mail address, for that reason not too many will pay for it... "BUT" even escort who don't pay they're ad still remain on the site, Men4RentNow will send them an e-mail tell the escort who did't pay for the ad they got an e-mail from customer, but escort can't get the e-mail until pay for the ad!___Highway robbery!!
