I've been hearing a little bit on this site about a place called numbers. I've worked at the Gaiety Theatre in NYC in the past. It's a place where alot of men go to find a "date" . What are the rates of some of the good escorts working in Numbers? Is it "safe" there. I've never been in an uncontrolled environment before. 150$$-200$$. Is this a feasible rate for Numbers. For anyone that has been there. Does it even compare to the Gaiety?? What are the clients like.

As I said in another thread, I'm not sure on the average rate, though a hot young escort I'd met elsewhere said he got together for $150 pretty quickly the only time he'd gone so far. From your pictures it'd be hard to imagine you'd have trouble *if* there are clients into what you're into that night. The working guys tend to wear muscle shirts and jeans/slacks, the clients tend to wear business casual or better.

 

There's info on the upcoming meeting in the Lounge, and further down there should be info on the first meeting and how it went. The first was fun, and it may be a good way to pick up a new client (or several) while seeing if Numbers is your thing for other hookups.

BTW, here's what Numbers is like: It's on a corner of Santa Monica Blvd. (west of La Cienega), on the second floor of a little shopping center. (There's an elevator and stairs.) Inside, you enter facing a long bar. To the right is the restaurant, in a raised area. There are also some tables in the far corner, on the way to the restrooms. Decor is kind of dark, modern and plain (although there are mirrors). It's NOT a dance bar, nor do they have strippers! Whatever pick-up action there is takes place at the bar, which serves large, stiff and pricey drinks! Good luck!

The Escort Perspective

 

I have been to Numbers (at the new location) twice, once with a fellow escort (Jeff from Columbus) and once with a client, so on neither occassion was I "available."

 

However, the Twinks went there often, some with clients for dinner (the food is allegedly really good) but mostly to work. They range in age between 19 - 24 and their hourly rates are $200 to $300 (for the two who do adult films). They never had a problem getting their rate but then again they did not always get clients every time they went looking for one.

 

I also have a few other friends who are older, the oldest one is a body builder type, age 30, who also regularly get clients there. Numbers is in the City of West Hollywood, where the official policy is that prostitution is a victimless crime and thus is generally of the very lowest priority to either prosecute or enforce. If your question was it is safe, I would say yes, but as always, be prudent and sensible, which is sounds like you would be.

 

Finally, based on your pictures and reviews, I think you would do well. . . . As far as environment, I do not think anyone would complain if you decide to climb on top of the bar and do a bit of a strip tease.
