I just contacted my first escort thru email. How long will it be before I can expect a reply, 24hrs? More? And if I don't receive a reply, should I send another email?? What's the protocol on this?

The escort I contacted does not give a phone contact. My thnks in advance to you gentlemen for your replies.

I have found this to vary widely. Some will answer within the hour, some a couple of hours, some within 24 hours, some in 2-3 days. Had one that took 2 weeks. Keep in mind the Escort does have things to do besides check e-mail all day. Also, if they are on a long session, weekend or multi-day trip with a client, or traveling they probably can't respond.

If I have received no reply in 2-3 days, I will resent the e-mail and state I am still interested. If no reply to the second e-mail, I move on.

Very well put, KYT! :D I do my best to reply back to email from clients as soon as I can, as I am sure most escorts do. But, sometimes it can take a few days. Especially, as KYT pointed out, if I am on a trip or otherwise without internet access. But, I am usually able to reply back within a day or two, if not a few hours.

So, if you have emailed someone in your area who you are really interested in seeing, then be persistent and keep trying. However, if you are making a trip someplace and need to contact someone soon, then the speed in which an escort replies can help you narrow down your list of potential prospects quite well.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that you have a great time! :p

Ah, might this not be considered annoying?

I am a beginner in all this, but let me just take for granted that an escort will reply to let a inquiring client know if they are interested in setting up a meeting.

But if an escort is away for a week or so and find 3 emails from the same person, will the escort see this as a sign of great interest in them or of a client being desperate?

And what do you write in an email to them the 2nd+ time around. "Haven't heard from you yet?" Whatever you write might sound like you think the escort is unprofessional for not having replied yet.

I always give the escort about one week to reply, then I'll send him a second E mail. Still no answer I say "FUCK HIM" plenty of other escorts out there that I would like to see. Even a few regulars that I seen if they don't answer I move on to someone new, their lost not mind. I got no problem with spending my money on a new guy if the X regular can't answer the e mail. Nuttin wrong with a fresh new guy, that's the spice of life:9

When in doubt I whip it out:+

Hey Yog, good questions! When I said, be persistent, I didn't mean bombard the poor guy with a ton of emails one after the other. What I meant was, if you emailed him once and didn't get a response after a couple of days, then try emailing him again later. And, maybe even a third time a few days after that, just on the off chance that he is out of town, or his computer is on the blink, or he is otherwise unavailable. If you really want to see the guy, then I wouldn't give up after only one unanswered message.

Of course, this only works if you are in the same area as the guy you want to see, or are willing to get together at what ever opportunity presents itself. As I mentioned in my original post, if you are traveling to a specific place at a specific time, then you need to make arrangements much more quickly.

As far as what to put in your messages, that may not be as important as what you put in the subject line of your message. With as many viruses as there are floating around on the web, and all the millions of spam messages, I highly recommend that you put something specific in the subject line so as to get the escort's attention. Many "regular people" (and by that I mean non-escorts) simply delete any incoming mail from senders they don't know. Well, of course, we escorts can't do that as we don't yet know most of the people sending email messages to us. Therefore, we have to decide whether to open a particular piece of mail or just delete it based on what is in the subject line. I can't tell you how many clients have either left this blank, or put something completely sublime in there and I almost deleted it thinking it was spam. I am sure I probably have deleted other such legitimate messages from clients for the same reason.

So, when I said be persistent, I meant try a couple of more times, not one right after another and be sure to put something specific in the subject line. If you do all of that and still don't get a reply from your desired escort, then most certainly move on - there are definitely many yummy fish in the escort sea! :9

Well, first I think it's important that the subject heading on the e-mail be clear that it's a hiring request and not spam. That being the case, I think that it's a rare situation when an escort shouldn't be able to e-mail you back within 24 hours. This goes double if the escort doesn't leave a phone number for you to contact him. These days, internet access is available just about anywhere--even on the high seas. Even if the escort has been hired for a multi-day trip, it's hard to imagine the client wouldn't give him a few minutes to answer his e-mail, unless the client was a complete psycho (when I've hired escorts for multi-day trips, I certainly don't have them on a leash or expect them to ignore all their other obligations).

The only exception I can think of to not being able to answer e-mails within 24 hours or so is if one is camping in the wilderness (or, I suppose, being incarcerated). So if the subject on your e-mail was clearly one he shouldn't have deleted, I would say move on (unless you're really stuck on this guy, in which case you might want to give him one more 24-hour chance).

I've been using "Escort Questions". I think that is short and clear.

I emailed about 9 escorts, had 2 bounced messages (old addresses), 3 reply (1 sounds very interesting) and the 2 I really wanted to hear from didn't answer.

Of course, in another threat here I strated, you will see I email a rather long email about who I was, what I was looking for, some possible issues (medications, long time with no sex), and with most a photo of myself.

It might be a bit long for a first contact, but that way the escort knows most of the details on my end up front.
