I have to agree with Rod, and he and I can tell it for what it's like since we grew up there!~I spent my first 24 yrs. growing up in Mpls.,my family had a fishing resort north of International Falls(in Ontartio)where i spent the summers. Moved to L.A. and have to say IMHO, life here is better. HOWEVER, every area had it's admirers(my brother, loves icefishing, snowmobiling and hockey, so he thinks Mn. is heaven)I fly almost every week for the company I work for and I have found that getting into discussions about the quality of life in any given area is going to have armies of admirers and detractors. I will say, there is nothing nicer then a summer day on the lake somewhere in Minnesota(as long as you can avoid the horseflies and mosquitos, the horseflies are out in the sun and the mosquitos wait for you in the shade)but remember all those lakes get their water from the rain and snow!! Of course being away from it enables us to make wisecracks about life in Mn. "yu bethca" I go back every summer for a weekend at the lake with family, and never regret having left to move to Ca. but all my relatives would never live out here.

I have no trouble getting the thread back to Jason--I have been trading emails with him and have been very impressed-he has a good head on his shoulders--haven't seen the head between his legs as yet, but will soon.
