I appreciate your comments. Also, my comments above were not intended to suggest that anyone else should hire AH. Instead, I simply felt compelled once again to offer my own personal experience with him when the Western Union/fraud stuff came up.

 

I just went back and looked at the reviews for him as well, for the first time in years. He has 27 reviews. Depending on whether Rob B and Rob and Boston Gent are all the same person (evidently) or not, he has 20 reviews from first-time reviewers and 7 from either 4 or 7 reviewers who have submitted multiple reviews.

 

Of those, only one name appeared familiar to me: Truth Teller. TT, who was an extremely well-know quantity on this board, said "Fuck yes" in response to "hire again." The other multiple-review people were split 50-50.

 

In reading the reviews, I disregard everything from everyone I don't have some knowledge of. Why? Because I've had too many escorts relate stories to me of escorts stuffing their reviews with fake good reviews and sending in fake bad reviews for other escorts. I've heard of friends of escorts establishing long-time reviewer identities precisely to build-up their friend's business or tear down the competition. In short, despite HB's efforts, the system is so easily manipulated that I put no faith in what is written -- unless the reviewer's identity is a known quantity to me.

 

In the case of AH's reviews, that would mean I would read and pay attention to exactly one of 27 reviews: Truth Teller's.

 

Nevertheless, that's only how I see it. Other people here are on record saying that the reviews work well for them. If that's the case, I respect that and more power to them.

I had a negative experience with TT when the rating system was still in place. We had a minor dispute on the Message Center, followed by

TT giving me a negative vote. That was fine. But, I resented the extremely nasty comments that came with the vote. I had one very minor run in with TT; his comments were totally off base. He did the same thing to other people here. I respectfully disagree with you on TT.

 

On Anthony Holloway, I did go back to check when his first review appeared on this site. Anthony's first review was not posted until 2000, by then people were writing very positive or very negative review with little in between. Therefore, I do give a lot of weight

to your comments. You were there and have absolute A+ name value on the Message Center. In fact, you have made me rethink my position. Thanks.

Actually, TT was the one positive review I remember. I remember discussions he had regarding AH in the message center. He stressed that although he had a fun time, that he felt one had to know how to handle the likes of AH.

You don't recall? As I recall the controversy began when a former client revealed on this board that Zach had canceled an appointment with him with no explanation. Zach denied that but later admitted it. The client (who is still posting on this board) had told Zach upfront that he is HIV positive. Zach made the appointment anyway but then backed out. As I said, he at first lied about it but later admitted it.

 

As for other complaints about Zach, if you read his reviews I believe you will find one or two complaints about other no-shows by him.

If by "respond in ways that betray their youth" you mean they issue false denials when confronted by dissatisfied clients, I guess I can agree with that.

As someone who has personaly spoken with one of the clients who alledged that Anthony ripped him off, I will certianly say that I don't agree with deej entirely. Anthony also smeared my name on this board by using a fake ID and playing on post 9/11 sympathy by making up a fake person with a fake sister who supposedly died in the Pentagon attacks. Be that as it may.....

 

I also believe that deej was implying that HWSNBN was the "stalker" Anthony alleges, yet Anthony continues to associate with HWSNBN.

 

Having said all that, I believe that Anthony is guilty of all the bad things he's been accused of....

He has obviously grown up and matured a lot since then and I think if you want a date with him, you should go for it. His rep as a porn star is pretty good from what I understand. He has a real naem and rep now that quite frankly I don't think he is willing to sully by repeating the mistakes of his past.
