Honest response perhaps, but I saw no mention of a partial refund for any "unpleasant surprises", which interfered with the session.

 

Although it is certainly up to an escort to decide what he will and will not allow - to have restrictions which, when compared to the vast majority in his "industry", exceed the norm (I'm talking about condom use for ANY activity), it is in my mind deceptive to not mention this to the client ahead of time. I don't believe anyone can credibly argue that condom use for fingering and oral is widespread and common - and thus expected - among escorts.

 

Although Mr. Rollins apology seemed sincere, and his response honest, given the advertising power of reviews on this site, I would have offered the client a partial refund in good faith, knowing, as Mr. Rollins stated that a review like the one in question was probable.

Sure - but I don't think it's so much the amount of the refund as the sentiment it represents. In both learning and teaching customer service concepts, I understood that mistakes, mishaps, and inconveniences will occur. That's life. It's how we attempt to recover from these mistakes that leaves lasting impressions, either positive or negative.

 

In reading the client's review, and the escort's response, it was clear to me that neither were under the misperception that they would be seeing each other again. But the point for the escort is advertising, word-of-mouth. Mr. Rollins stated that he was not surprised that he'd receive such a review from that client. In fact, he was expecting it. With that in mind, it would seem to me in the escort's best interest to have investigated all reasonable avenues to please, or at least try to satisfy the client. Having the ability to state that a partial refund was offered would have made a more favorable impression among other readers of the review, regardless of the reaction by the client.

 

Furthermore, as I said earlier, Mr. Rollins' requirement of condom usage for all methods of intimate contact is unusual in the world of escorting. That being the case, he should state that upfront. As he apparently does not, is it out of fear of scaring potential clients away?

 

By not doing so, and by not offering a partial refund for the other, albeit forgiveable and understandable problem that occured, I'm left with the perception that Mr. Rollins' first, foremost, and overarching priority is the money, to the exclusion of a client's pleasure, and future business, for that matter.

 

Mr. Rollins seems like an honest, fun, and sexy escort. He could burnish that image with a little marketing savvy - especially given the high prices he wishes to command.

Chrismac, I concur with respect to giving oral with a condom, but I think that finger cots for fingering is just a damn good idea. Ever since I heard about them here, I've used them, and I've even introduced a few escorts to them who thanked me profusely. They understand the dangers of sharp fingernails, paper cuts, etc., when engaging in anal fingering.

 

BTW, if Walgreen's in the Midwest carries finger cots as a fairly mainstream item (they're used to protect from blisters, etc., in many ways not at all associated with anal sex), you can probably buy them anywhere. :o
