Well, so much for the jack-booted policemen breaking down his door, knocking him to the ground, dragging him out into the night, throwing him into a cell, confiscating all his savings and ruining his life.

It appears that his breathlessly reported run in with the law wasn't so horrific that it's kept him from whoring.

Refresh my memory, last time we checked, what was the balance in the "Free Kristian/Houston Defense Fund"?

I fully expect all the usual suspects to come hurtling into the room to defend Kristian's honor and relate to us all the deep and meaningful times they've shared, blah blah blaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. However, I would like everyone to remember the COUNTLESS articles we've read about scam artists. These guys are ALWAYS charming and sweet and delightful. If they weren't, they wouldn't be able to do what they do - so well.

The FACT is, none of you faggots were there on that nuit terrible, so it's anybody's guess what really happened. My guess: Kristian's story is a bunch of horse pucky.

Assuredly yours,

FFF

I agree with you FFF. The whole scenario was too breathless, on the one hand, and hush-hush, on the other, to be real. And you're quite right on con men: HEL-LO! They "con" because they are charmingly able to gain "confidence".

>As always F3, thanks for bringing a smidge of sanity to this

>Board. I should tell Kirk that if he just held his fire a bit

>more, he too could spin a tale and start a defense fund.

>Remember what we're doing men.

And who we're doing it with. While I believe the majority of escorts simply engage in commerce, we as customers are probably a bit more vulnerable than the average population. Gay lonliness is a fact of gay life, especially as you get older. In every field of endeavor, there are those who look to take advantage in every way possible.

One should always keep one's guard up. If something sounds unbelievable, you probably shouldn't believe it. Enough said.

All of these comments are probably justified, especially as subjective viewpoints. I really don't know because I never met this guy or followed what was going on in the mentioned threads. But for eye candy, this guy has it in spades. And the fact that he may be versatile, well it's enough to make me take the bait and "suck it up" so to speak, if I get "taken".

Well they no doubt amused FFF and they CERTAINLY gave me a giggle. That's worth something, right?

I don't know why you're so bitter. I mean, calling people faggots? My God you seem to be the biggest queen of them all. Just because you're jealous and don't have anything better to do doesn't mean you should go bashing people. Kristian seems like a really nice guy. Obviously a lot of people seem to think so. I would hire him and I am only 19, attractive, and get plenty of action. Kristian keep up the good work buddy. I think your great and don't let some washed up hag pull you down.

You missed the point, my young and naive friend (first post, too!). The fact that swindlers seem like really nice guys constitutes the whole point of this discussion. You obviously don't know him well enough to declare that Kristian is a really nice guy. When the story of the purported arrest first came out, FFF, myself, and others advised others not to send money without more solid evidence (i.e. the arrest report). After the plea for money, there was a strange silence, then a mysterious and unexplained reappearance of Kristian.

At this point, it seems pretty clear that the whole story was a scam after all. It's very easy to be charmed by someone who looks, well, charming. I remember at one point finding a whole area on google with links to websites with scams (i.e. I need money for cancer treatment for my daughter, etc.). There are plenty of worthwhile causes to send one's money. Anonymous web pleas are among the least likely to be truly worthwhile causes. And some escorts may not exactly be the nation's most upstanding citizens...

Ok, its been a LONG night and let me see if I have this straight?

As far as I know NO ONE has complained about the quality of Kristians escorting. Just the opposite I think.

Now for what his legal troubles were, I don't know. But it MAY or MAY NOT have anything to do with the quality of his escorting. So far no evidence to suggest one way or the other. The fact that there is no one complaning about his performance suggests whatever it was had nothing to do with his escort work. And it may have been a bum rap. It does happen.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the defense fund stuff came from just one poster here who is notoriously big hearted. I don't think anyone chimed in to say it was a good idea. Nor do we know if Kristian instigated the idea or even knew it was going on. And if he did have anything to do with it, it still doesn't mean he is a bad escort. OF course if you don't think its a worthy cause don't contribute. Did anyone?

For the record I have never hired Kristian, nor had any contact with him whatsoever. So why is this guy considered a swindler? I know they are out there but it doesn't seem to fit this guy.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Kristian and emailing him during his problems with the law. Never once did he ask for money or help. I have grown to know and respect Kristian and I'm looking forward to his return to the East Coast hopefully as his new home.

This is on Fag that thinks that the only reality FFF know's is her own empty worthless life. Filled with self loathling so she has to take it out on others. Please take your estrogen shots have a Midol and down it with a fifth of vodka and then jump of the roof. Maybe then you will find happiness and we won't have to put up with your shit.

Respectfully your, Candyman

You're right. I've always had a problem with self "loathling".

Fortunately, self "loathing" has never been an issue for me.

What is 'gay loneliness' as opposed to 'straight loneliness'? Is it that feeling you get after he pulls his dick out of your ass...that achingly empty feeling of "please put it back in!"? :p Seriously, though, I don't get it. Gay loneliness? It might have been true in generations past when many gay men were deep in the closet, but it doesn't hold true today...at least, not for those of us who came of age after Stonewall. As for older people getting lonely, yes, that is a fact of life for everyone, straight or gay, as loved ones & friends pass away. My grandmother's lonely & she's definitely no dyke. :o

Sorry, I should have been more explicit....

Having some familiarity with you past posts on this theme, I missed what was new in this one. I was hoping to be clued-in.

You are such a bitch. Kristian never asked for a thing. The idea for a "Defense Fund" was brought up by someone else and never went anywhere. While he was not entirely forthcoming about what happened, he probably only brought it up because he was rattled. Perhaps later, he thought better of it.

Personally, I think you are a dangerous man. If I knew who you were, I would warn all escorts to stay the hell away from you.

My gut tells me that you like to fuck with peoples lives for your own boredom. You are a silly little ninny faggot. Your nit picking bitch antics are funny here in this anonymous realm, but in the real world, you are useless.

Well, actually, people my age who have been out a while, are post-Stonewall and pre-AIDS may have a little different perspective. I moved to San Francisco in 1979, from Kansas. With a newly minted Engineering degree and a job (started to say position...) at a rather prestigious place to work in the Bay Area. After years of knowing my sexual identity was not the same as others, I figured things out pretty fast after landing in SF. Upon walking in to a gay bar (the Cafe, at Market and Castro) I quickly realized I was home. Made a new friend that night, and well in to the following morning. Life was great and kept getting better. Made some terrific friends, had a great apartment at 16th and Church, worked all day, partied all night, plenty of sex. What more was there?

Then AIDS hit.

Every single person in my little tribe/support group when I came out died during the plague years. All and I do mean ALL my friends from that era are dead now. By all rights, I ought to be as well, because they didn't do anything I didn't do.

So, from a relationship perspective, the pickings for guys my age are fairly small among my age group. Sure, there are people around who were straight-identified most of their lives, often with kids, ex-wives etc. Not exactly what I'm looking for. You also run across people who are newly out. Doesn't exactly paint someone in the best light if they're just waking up to being gay in their 40s.

From a dating/relationship perspective, that leaves people older or younger than myself. In my previous relationships, I've mostly been the younger guy. Staying young at heart is a good thing, so I think I'd sorta like someone younger than me at this stage.

Let's just say that being gay, single and >40 isn't just a whole lot of fun. Is gay lonliness different? Yes and no. Much the same, in many ways with perhaps a few more complicating factors here and there.

OK, thanks for opening my eyes there. I hadn't thought about those "complicating factors." This is what I really love about this place: when we can educate each other about things other than who's got the biggest twink cock (although that's fun to learn about, too).

The Loathling was the horror-genre sequel to The Yearling, in which the murdered fawn Flag's hateful cousin "Fag" comes back to seek revenge upon Jody and his entire family. It was a box office flop but it's available on DVD, digitally-remastered in Dolby surround sound. :+

By calling each other queers, faggots, fairies or whatever we rob others of the ability to make these terms pejoratives.

Welcome to the board. Isn't it great being here and queer?

My pleasure. Almost no one does.

So what twink does have the biggest cock? And how do you know?
