I see nothing wrong with an escort reviewing another escort. I believe that Devon form San Francisco has a review of Talvin DeMachio on this web site. An escort can also be a client as well. (Whether there is a group discount rate amongst escorts I do not know.) I think in some cases that an escort could be a harsher reviewer than a non escort, especially if they are a very good escort and expect the same kind of quality treatment that they are used to providing.

I seem to recall a thread on this very topic not that long ago.

 

I think there is nothing wrong with an escort reviewing another escort, AS LONG AS IT WAS A PAID ENCOUNTER. If it is simply a sexual romp between two escorts, neither of whom hired the other, then it isn't pertinent to me. How an escort performs sexually when he is not "working" doesn't necessarily indicate how he performs with clients.

I've hired numerous escorts over the years. There's one escort in particular that I've hired over 200 times in the past 5 years. But, I have yet to formally review any of them. There've been a few porn stars and some very well-reviewed escorts...some of whom I felt didn't live up to their hype. I don't feel it's appropriate for me to review other escorts, especially while I'm still escorting. Maybe when I retire completely from escorting, I'll become a reviewer.

I did indeed hire and review Talvin last year, and no I didn't get a discount rate. However, my review of him actually caused almost as big a spike in hits to my website as I usually get when one of my own reviews comes up, and generated at least enough business to more than pay for the cost of having hired him. }(

I have to admit I'd be extremely hesitant to write a bad review of a fellow escort, lest it look like I was talking trash about a colleague. Unless he did something that I really thought clients needed to be warned about, I wouldn't want to attach my reputation to a negative review of someone else. I also think that from an ethical perspective it makes sense for an escort, if he's writing a review, to be up front about the fact that he's an escort, in case clients want to factor that info into how seriously to take the review.

}( I'll admit that the first couple of years I hired that escort, I did go 'hog wild and pig crazy' as my mother used to say. The first 100 times were in years 1 and 2. I've been working on this "moderation thing" friends have been telling me about. So, I've been SLOWLY tapering off.

 

I truly believe that being a client has made me a better escort. ALL escorts should hire a few times to see what it's like from the "other side".

Jeff, here is a question that doesn't have a hidden agenda or a nasty intent. Do you think that because of your escorting that you became more interested in paid sex for yourself rather than just hooking up with guys you liked? I suppose I am curious if you have attached a more desirable value to paid sex than unpaid sex, and if so, is it because of the influence of your escorting? Care to discuss?

Sure.

 

For me, it's an escape... a fantasy. It gets me off to pay a guy for sex that I normally wouldn't end up with in the "real" world.

 

I don't go out to clubs. I've never been to a bathhouse. When I drank, I was pretty much a slut. That changed when I quit drinking in 1988.

 

Looking back over the past few years, I can see that I used sex like a drug. I was off my meds for bipolar disorder for quite a while. There were times I hired 3 different escorts in one day(and 1 of them twice!). There was a definite pattern to my hiring, totally in synch with my mood swings. I smoked too much pot also.

 

Well, I'm once again off my medication. But, I've learned alot about myself after years of observation. I'm not as crazy as I'd feared, (Thanks Whitney, Michael, Diana and Mariah)...LOL. I've found that the more comfortable I am just being myself the easier it is to deal with life. The way I see it, I've embraced my insanity.

 

So, having said that. I've encountered alot of judgmental people who will glady have sex with me, but have said FLAT OUT, that they could never date someone who worked as an escort. Well, you know, I'm very upfront when I meet people and when I meet a guy he usually knows I'm an escort soon after my name. That tends to weed out alot of guys.

 

I have such a different attitude towards sex since I first started escorting nearly 12 years ago. There are now many more scenes that I enjoy. But, I don't find paying for it any better or more desirable than hooking up with someone for free. I recently had some of the hottest non-paid sex ever(with an ex-boyfriend).

 

Oh God, somehow Franco has gotten inside my head...LOL.;-)

I agree with you, I've hired other escorts myself and was very disapointed with them. I did not write a review for the simple reason that everyone has an off day, and most escorts are nervous around other escorts.

Meeting and Reviewing Other Escorts

 

This is a pretty interesting question. I agree with Devon, I do think it is possible for a currently working escort to review other escorts but I think it is not always easy. It depends on the situation and circumstances.

 

I have often been in the situation where sexual opportunities have arose without the exchange of cash but I do not think that type of circumstance should be reviewed by anyone, escort or not. As I have stated elsewhere, I have had a "thing" for Cody Foster for a long time and would certainly be comfortable paying him for his company. Everything I have ever heard and read about him, including the few client reviews on this site, leads one to accept he is straight and would only be available to me or anyone else for cash.

 

However, I might not think it fair to review him as I have such a fantasy worked up about him in my mind in may be impossible for him (or any other human being) to meet it. If he did, I would be the first person in line to stumble over my lap top to write him an honest "rave" review.

 

Sebastian also raises a good point, which clients who have stated that they have declined to write negative reviews also have mentioned: everyone has a bad day. I also think you are aware if you play a role in that. However, when you do read some of the truly negative reviews that get posted, you note that it is not one thing, but a number of things which gave the client the impetus to submit a negative commentary: tardiness, poor communication skills, taking advantage of the client, bad or inappropriate behavior.

 

I would like to think I am smart enough to let myself get into a situation where that would happen to me as a client, but you never know. If it were that bad an experience, I do think some form of a response in the nature of a review is appropriate, if the escort did not provide a satisfactory response upon my asking or contacting him about the incidents.
