RE: F- the terrorists - I went to the Gaiety!!

VDN, While you were getting your jollies at the G, I was trapped (not by terrorists) on the LIRR due to a fire at Penn Station. I didn't even get a refund!:-( ... Your weekend review was great! Even though the LIRR prevented me from attending, I still felt as if I were right up there with you and LUSO. Thanks for a wonderful and long awaited review of the show. I'll give you the "scoop" on that sexy hunk Louie, but first, who's your new avatar friend? :+ Welcome back VDN, you were missed... And LUSO, I want a full report on your Valentine's Day private with Johny... Coop

VDN,

Thanks for the post. I too, have gone back and forth about my trip to NY next week. If I cancel, "they" win. "They" will not win, I will be in NY on Thursday (2/20) night and at the gaiety on Friday for my first trip to any kind of strip place. Your description of the guys made it seem like I was there already. Hope to meet a bunch of the regulars in the audience on Friday. Of course, I will be nervous as hell about how to behave in the place, but figure I'll watch everyone else and see what they do, and if I can bring myself to to follow along...well..... It's all an adventure...me and 'Lil jack are ready to play. See you guys in 5 days!

COOPER!

>Station. I didn't even get a refund!:-( ... Your weekend

I heard about the fire from another patron in the G lounge. I am glad you were not injured. That must have been frustrating for you. If it isn't snow it's fire! Well, it seems we are being tested this year on attending! Cooper, I do believe your shorts are fire retardant so you have nothing to worry about.

I now hear the snow that we were getting for tonight is now moved to Sunday/Monday. Barring earthquake or water-main break I hope to re-claim my seat again tonight and see you there!

Hey Lucky,

>A great report VDN! It's good to see you back and having fun!

Thank you! I was hoping to finally met you last night as well. Maybe Saturday.

I wonder what tourist map that would go on: the Disney version or the Ron Jeremy version?

Hello Glutes,

Very well done VDN! Makes me want to hop a plane and finally

>get to see the 'G'. Fuck the terrorits!

Well, there was a message board member in attendance from Houston last night and he flew up just to tour the "scene" in NY for boys who want to have fun. SO GRAB YOUR TICKET AND COME ON UP! I know many people will have different opinions on this issue but if you ever need help getting a room near the G try these links first:

http://www.applecorehotels.com

http://www.edisonhotelnyc.com

http://www.paramounthotelnyc.com

All of these places are close to the G and Stella's so it is very convenient. As a matter of fact, when it is cold or rainy, I walk out of the G, I go through the Edison's lobby and then right out the other door to Stella's. VERY convenient for when you need to hunt down a man.

GOOD FOR YOU! Your arrival is on my calendar. I think Cooper is making name tags. Luso is making the dip.

There is no reason to be nervous at all. This is a place to hoot and have some fun. Tipping is all up to you. Out of politeness I tip every guy. My minimum tip is $2.00. If they tickle my pickle I go to 5 or 10. I didn't go past 10 last night for any one guy because I wanted to return with some control. I did do a lot of 5s and 10s. I wanted to give all of my credit cards to Louie.

Anyway, have a safe trip and it will be a pleasure to meet you.

PEACE

I have not been to NYC, The Gaiety and this message board in quite some time. Since it is a four-day weekend for me I decided I would mount the city once again. Then the country’s terror alert rating went from taupe to magenta (or whatever the hell the colors are). Then I saw people duct taping their homes. Then I saw on the news on how Grand Central was looking like a training camp for a new Rambo movie. I was not going to let all of this deter me.

However, my mom chimed in. Now, it does not matter HOW OLD you are your mother is always your mother. “You are going where?” “Have you been watching the news?” “Well, if you must go then at least watch the news before you leave”. I tried to tell my mother that if I don’t go to the city then the terrorists win. If we all stop living our lives then the terrorists win. The word terror is at the heart of the word terrorist. They want us to be afraid.

EVERY damn channel was over doing it with reporters telling us what to do if a poison is introduced into the atmosphere. The news being flung at high speeds across the bottom of the screen was everywhere. I was pissed that, once again, all the news shows were trying to get the best ratings at the expense of trying to scare us. However, it did get to me and I was having second thoughts. “They” were saying it was the end of a Muslim Holy Holiday so holy shit was going to go down. “They” were saying there was a lot of evidence to lead to a terrorist attack today. “They” were giving suggestions on what people should and should not do.

It was time to get on the 12:50 train to NYC. I did not get on it. It was time to get on the 1:50 train. I did not get on it. The 2:57 train came and went. If I did not take the 3:50 train I would not make the 6:15 Gaiety show on time. At the last minute I said FUCK IT and I went. I was going to beat the Taliban. I was going to beat Saddam Hussein. I was going to watch naked men dance and tip them for it!

I went to my local train station and there were police all around. I pretended they were on high alert because they knew I was returning to the G (from now on I will refer to The Gaiety as the “G”) and that usually causes problems. On the way to the city I was finally able to listen to a CD I purchased some time ago: “Bunka” by Paul Oakenfold. Brad, the former G DJ, got me hooked on him. The first song entitled, “Ready Steady Go” is an awesome song and I felt it would, along with many tracks from this album, be good G songs. We will get to that later.

I arrive in Grand Central. Oh my. Lots of people with lots of big guns. Lots of police vehicles. And the place didn’t seem crowded at all.

After a brief stop at The Colony on Broadway for some sheet music I made it to the G. It was so nice to see Denise, her sister Trixie (I forgot her real name - I like Trixie better), security man and The Gaiety Council of Elders in the lounge. I gave Denise a Valentine. I know she wants me. However, it was such a pleasure to see Luso. I have not seen him in so long. He then left to go spend some quality time with Johny.

I was able to get a prime seat. Yeah. Neo was the DJ. He needs to learn to turn off the porn projector first before raising the screen as everyone in the theatre had their corneas burned! It was cool to see his body as a silhouette before he raised the screen. Maybe D should think about adding this feature to the show - nude male silhouette dancing. It did look cool. Then again I like Captain Crunch.

Before I go into my mini-review I will rate each dancer using the Luso rating system using smiley faces. 1 face is bad and 5 faces are the best. I did notice one theme in tonight’s show. A lot of the boys have really bulked up since I last saw them. I guess Weight Gain 2000 is still popular with people besides Cartman from South Park.

COREY - :-) :-) :-)

I was so happy when he came out and the song was “Ready Steady Go” by Paul Oakenfold. Sometimes I think I am Miss Cleo’s love child. Corey bulked up some, especially in his upper body and arms. I do remember he was fond of Red Bull but I don’t know if that adds bulk. I know it adds energy but it seems to make people pee more. Anyway, Corey is still more of a poser and not a dancer. He is still a pleasure to look at and he is one of the few dancers that doesn’t use cock bungee to keep things hard. What he lacks in dance moves he makes up with looks with his dark short hair and dark eyes.

RICARDO - :-) :-) :-)

I forgot who he was until he took his glasses off. My Clark Kent theory was proven correct again. I had no clue who he was until the glasses came off. He is a handsome Latino. He has some boyish charm qualities to his face. His hair really looks good straight with minimal hair product in it. He dances very well and he knows how to work his cock for the crowd. He does a lot of playing with his tip. His coat of hair that is in his basement (balls, crack and hole) gives him more of an exotic look without saying, “get the hoe and trim that bush”.

ERIC - :-) :-) :-)

Eric is not afraid to tell his real age. Though he is not ready for elder care he still has a few years of G shelf life in him. He is a handsome, muscular blonde with a nice sense of humor. He asked some patrons who were grazing on Subway Sandwiches in the lounge if they needed any “special sauce” for their sandwiches. They looked at him like deer in headlights. I laughed as I always appreciate base humor. Eric is quite the twister when he dances. He was in every position I could think of. Though he did not have an erection it was still a pleasure to watch him. He did some S & M role-playing with his wrists and belt. That was hot. He thrashed about a lot and his energy was enjoyable.

LOUIE - :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Oh my. Speechless. I normally don’t go for muscle men. I think one of the reasons is that I see so few of them that are to scale and proportioned. Some have the arms of Popeye and the legs of Olive Oil. Louie, to me, is body perfection. He is a tall, hairless somewhat Mediterranean looking fellow with huge muscles all over. However, he is not over done. HOWEVER, HIS ASS IS INCREDIBLE. For his first number he wore these nylon-type work out pants. HIS ASS WAS PUSHING THESE PANTS TO THE LIMIT. It has been a while since I was excited about someone’s ass at the G. He then came out for his second number. Nude. Hard. Big. Gorgeous. Then I saw the ass. It was solid, shapely and beautiful. And there was a band-aide on his ass. I found that cute. However, what I found out later was more than anything I could have imagined … he lives in my hometown. Not near it. Not 10 miles from it. IN IT. Ok everyone, sing … “it’s a small world after all ….”.

JOHNY - :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

When Luso came back from his private with Johny Luso was glowing. I thought he was pregnant. Then I had to remind myself men can’t have babies (yet). Needless to say Johny did another famous private where the customer is always right and goes away pleased and wanting more and more AGAIN. Johny is very cute guy. His looks are both boyish and innocent. His dark, cropped hair compliments his beautiful dark eyes and his perfect nose. His cock is big. The attitude is small. He is a real nice guy and a pleasure to talk to. He also has a great sense of humor. On this Valentine’s Day it was a pleasure to see a real life cherub in action.

NICK - :-) :-) :-)

I don’t know if it was make-up or body oil but he looked as if he was attacked by a dozen glazed donuts. His face was very … glazed. Other than that, Nick is great. He is a tank. You muscle lovers will adore him as he is ripped. He has a shaven head and a very tanned body. He also has a nice smile.

TONY - :-) :-) :-)

Tony is still a crowd pleaser. Pierced tongue. Blonde hair. Hairless body with flawless skin. A huge cock that will make you choke. I didn’t see too much of his act as I was with Johny and Luso at the punch bowel wondering how the middle of the punch is red and the outer rim is orange.

TREVOR - :-) :-) :-) :-)

Wow. He has REALLY bulked up. His arms are the size of my legs. He is a big boy. His ass is still perfect. And I was quite happy to see he stopped with his robot moves. That is so 8th grade. I LOVED the fact that when he was very close to me when he was on the stage I actually felt the heat coming from his body. He is one hot guy.

DILLON - :-) :-)

So many thoughts went through my mind as to what thoughts when through his mind. I guess when he learned he was dancing at the G he felt the need to dress like a member of the VILLAGE PEOPLE. He had on blue jean shorts and that were cuffed. He had on a blue tank top. He had on beige work boots and red socks. HEY. HEY. HEY HEY HEY. MACHO MACHO MAN. He also chose to dance at the end of the runway. I was not going to strain my neck looking back at him. I think he was handsome. I am not sure as I only saw his face when he came on stage and then to get my tip. HEY. HEY. HEY HEY HEY. Oh, and Neo said his name 9 different ways.

MICHAEL - :-) :-) :-)

Michael has a very nice body and a cute face. He danced quite well and really gave a lot of attention to everyone sitting near the stage - EVEN THE DUDE WHO WAS SLEEPING THOUGH 80% OF THE SHOW. Michael is aggressive in the lounge. I am not sure where his accent would hail him from but he sure knows the language of private talk. Though he is nice and handsome I kept my money private from him.

LUC - :-) :-) :-) :-)

It was so nice to see Luc again. I LOVE the thin coat of hair that covers his body. His smile is also enchanting. He has bulked up as well in his arms and upper body. I guess everyone is going for the muscle look. He legs are still the best at the G.

CLAUDIO - :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I like it when dancers talk dirty to me from the stage. He came right up to me, kneeled down as he was holding his hard dick, and he said, “Hello. Do you like this? I know you like this”. PLUS he had an accent. I was ready to go. He has a buzz cut and a thong tan line. Though he is not overly tall he is quite compact with his loads of muscles.

CAMERON - :-) :-) :-)

Cameron has cute spikey blonde hair and a wonderful upper body. He has a great smile and he makes sure he makes contact with all the patrons. I couldn’t help notice it seems he always looks surprised. I don’t know if it is because he eyebrows are high or he is still surprised he dances naked. Whatever the case may be I am sure the person who plans a surprise birthday party for him will be happy.

As I left the G I noticed that the streets were still not very crowded. Was it the cold? Was it current events? Was everyone home shagging for Valentine’s Day?

I went to Stella’s with a friend I met at the G sometime ago. That experience was worth defying the warnings on the news. I had SUCH a wonderful time. We laughed and talked and drank and harassed people. Most importantly, a friendship was both renewed and strengthened.

Metro-North round trip ticket: $17.50

Tips at the G: $75.00

My time at Stella’s with my special friend: Priceless

THANK YOU FRIEND!

And Cooper - you were MIA?!?!? I had a treat for you. I hope to see you at the next round of fun and frolic. Thanks for keeping me posted.

Though we can’t ignore what our world is now PLEASE don’t allow the bastards to scare us. Leave your homes. Throw away the duct tape. Buy a loud Hawaiian shirt. Live. Today.

Tipping Gaiety-style

My own personal scale of tipping the fellas onstage. Your mileage may vary:

Disclaimer: I tip whenever I'm occupying a seat within tipping distance of the stage

$0= "You've somehow insulted me or the audience at large with your show (usually something to do with catering to women or being Neo/Stephen)"

$1= " I'm not into you or your music but I appreciate your effort and need to hold my limited cash for the bigger guns to come."

$2= "Good job. Thanks"

$5= " I like you, you've given me that down low tickle. BTW you smell great"

$10= "Thats not a banana in my pocket, is the wet spot showing?"

$20= "I'm in love, I would let you do horrible things to me on the stage in front of everyone, I would do all those things your girlfriend would NEVER do. Please allow me to prove that"

$20+= "Really you can probably just reach into my pocket and take my wallet as long as you brush up against my woody while you do it"

Tipping during the first song: "I know how lovely you are and want to let you know as soon as possible, and if you want to skip your second song and run off with me, I'm totally open to that"

Tipping more than once during a particular song: "Downpayment on our marriage license"

The shower of cash, where a patron will throw a hand full of cash over a particular dancers naked body (I've only seen this one done and not done it myself)="Longtime fan or I was planted in the audience to build up your image"

RE: Tipping Gaiety-style

Very funny Jinx.

Oh, is that what I'm doing wrong?

I virtually always tip at least a dollar (most of the time two is the minimum for me, unless I'm seeing the show many times during the week).

A dancer I like more gets 3 and if I really like them, I'll give them a dollar in the first song and 5 in the second.

I think I've given 10 or more maybe 2 times. With many dancers, it doesn't really register that you've given them a nice tip.

I do (still) think that those sitting near the stage during a busy show should tip. If you don't like a particular dancer, I think it's ok not to tip that particular one, but it's really unfair to other patrons and to the dancers if you're going to sit there all night and not tip at all. Even worse behavior was exhibited by several who literally fell asleep during the show. If you need sleep, why don't you stay in the back of the theatre (or better yet, at home), the seats are much more comfortable and I hear they'll even provide you with a pillow.

RE: And another thing

Clap for the boys! I know its called a Theatre but, really, MAKE SOME NOISE in appreciation. I was there on Sunday and I really felt like I had to lead the class in the applause.

Saturday night has the infamous ass hooters, but I really find that very often the crowd is dead.

Clapping after the second song is minimum requirement (at least some of the time).

Well, in the lounge, he sounded very exotic. Maybe a fake accent? I find it hard to beleive any of these boys would try a trick like that to score a .... trick.
