There I was on Christmas Eve Midnight Mass at St. Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Chelsea and who do I see? Reece Rothmeier standing alongside Rex Brant both singing Christmas Hymns! I know the Reece/Rex is a cute story but it seems somehow not right to report it. However, I agree with blu that there is a tabloid quality to this vignette that makes me uncomfortable. The "tabloid effect" did bother me at first, too. However, once I read the original post, that sort of faded since it was such a simple, nice piece which had meant more inspiration for the poster than sexual titilation. What earns my Bah, Humbug about this thread though is how this piece got so completely turned around as to cease being about two men who have posted here before, if I remember correctly, but rarely and are rarely talked about here, going to church, and instead became about someone who is talked about in every other thread on this whole board who mentions in passing that he doesn't believe in prayer. I love Rick's posts. He is much, much better at being flirty than I am and I like that. I also love, vicariously, his ass. I thought the original post was kind of charming. A humanizing view of guys we might ordinarily just treat as objects. Hmm, tempting.

 

But of course the others on this thread that are cautious are correct, we should be careful of their privacy. The question is, are the people on the site able to respect the privacy of the rest of us? I hope it's true. I was kinda of pleased and surprised the details of the Kristian/Houston thing weren't plastered all over this site. For those of you who did know what was going on..Thanks for not posting it. I know its kind of odd to encourage people to not share information on the net. But that kind of thing would only cause trouble. I'm somewhat surprised this post made it past the moderators. I would have felt more comfortable if the original poster had not stated the actual name of the church ... this does not add anything to the point of the post. Well they're at it again. Rex Brant and Reece Rothmeier were spotted last night at the Gaiety Theatre -- In the audience -- not dancing.
