Are there any Great Hustler Bars In New York

My thanks to the fellow NYC visitor asking about NYC escorts- I am

visiting a friend here until New Years Day, and have not been here for several years. My question is, what about the type of hustler

bar I remember from back then, which is Rounds? I know that is long

gone- my host mentioned a bar Reds, but he said he read on this forum

that it had been raided by the polce weeks ago and did not know if it

had survived. I like the thrill of going to a bar and meeting someone first that I know is working, rather than waiting for someone

to just show up at the front door. I know about Stellas, but I am

from the twink and up, All-american, east villagey,preppy or just plain cute chelsea boy type. Any suggestions or guidance? Is Reds

any type of option, or somewhere else to find who I might be looking

Well you know about Stella's and Red. I don't have any current information on Red for you. But there is a third place where escorts hang out -- the Town House. It is not an escort or hustler bar, but a bar for older, upper scale men. However, escorts have been seen there, and are tolerated by the management as long as everything is discreet. It is on East 58th St., between Second and Third Avenues. The TH also has a restaurant which is pretty good and not too expensive on the same block but in a different building, closer to Third.

I was in Red on Friday night at 10 pm. There were two bartenders, one customer and no dancers. Does anyone know what is going on there? Do they still have dancers?
