Hmmm--I'm puzzled here--what is it that you are complaining about?

You say he advertises as 22 but wasn't until he actually told you he was 28 that you knew? I mean, YOU SAW HIM BEFORE THE TRAIN RIDE dude--same for his Blond hair--the first 2 of 4 "complaints" you're whining about were either up front and obvious or obviously didn't matter, and have now become excuses.

I really don't know what the problem with a bandaide is--I've worn them and I bet you have too on dates--what's the difference? Whether it was a spider bite or an ingrown hair or pimple, it had a bandaide on it--what am I missing?

You say the ""home run"" was the fake reviews he told you about! How silly. What difference did that make? Either he's taking care of you like he said he would or he's not, but you don't go into that here at all--you just whine about the other nonsense and want people here to tell you if "you did the right thing" or not. That in and of itself is silly--don't you have an opinion of your own you respect?

Well, I say NO, you didn't do the right thing, unless there were other factors that actually had to do with your time together you haven't told us about.

Actually, I think you pulled this shit together to justify sending him home simply because you changed your mind or didn't have the balls to say NO when you first met him face to face--just my not-so humble opinion of course x(

Did you pay him? Hope so.

RE: Cody, NYC STAR...

Having read your posts and response to a review, I do almost regret not going through with it now. It had as much to do with not really having the cash at the moment (and the feeling it was a bit much even if I did...) as it did with the reviews (this thread didn't resurface 'till after I'd canceled).

The thing about the reviews was that more then one reviewer seemed to be saying you were 5+ years older then stated (not a big deal in many escort segments, but for 'cute young twinks' it can be...) and that you had changed physically from your photos (not talking hair color/length). The reviews made it sound like you'd improved, which was why I didn't understand you not having new pics... Still have trouble believing the guy in those photos had trouble finding a photographer, even a pro... ;o)

I look forward to your new photos, and maybe your next trip to LA.

I don't normally choose to get involved in these "he said/he said" stories. But I have to say that, taking everything that has been written into account, it sounds to me like the reviewer has an obsessive-compulsive problem, at least with cleanliness/dirt/germs and possibly with other things as well.

If that is, in fact, the case, it's likely that any escort who showed up would have been disappointing to him.

At the very least, I think his expectations about his interaction with a young escort he had never met before were somewhat unrealistic. If he is going to continue to see escorts, I think he's going to have to learn to relax a whole lot or he is going to continue to be disappointed by his experiences.

Terminology

Umm, BG, there is a world of difference between being obsessed with someone and having obsessive-compulsive symptoms.

I also thought that he was afraid that the bandage was covering something more insidious than a spider bite. I didn't think it had anything to do with germs. (However, I should know better than to assume what someone else meant, lol.)

RE: Terminology

GG:

I don't think he was obsessed with the escort.

I do think that the description of their encounter (including the escort's response) demonstrated clear signs of an obsessive/compulsive disorder, especially regarding cleanliness and related subjects.

Some people who thought they had "GIANT spider bites" actually turned out to have a drug-resistant staph infection. He should really have that checked out, for his own sake as well as that of others, and he shouldn't be seeing clients (or hooking up in general) until he's sure this isn't something he could spread to others.

RE: Terminology

Nope, don't see any clinical indicators of OCD.

However, I was wondering why someone would revive a thread after 10 months... And Cody's response to his latest review is long-winded... But those are neither clinical obsessions nor compulsions.

My last word, lest someone diagnoses me. :+

RE: Terminology

OK, I guess I was confused -- I thought the spider bite guy WAS the person with the latest review and about whom the response was written.

That reviewer is the one who sounds to me like he has OCD... read the response again. The constant washing of hands, everything in tupperware, obsessing over the use of the right towel, using a napkin to touch his own computer, etc...

RE: Terminology

BG,

Now I get it--I thought you were talking about spider bite guy, not the recent reviewer! :+ That's why I was confused.

I just read the review, and I understand your observations.
