In all of my conversations and dealings with Michael Johnson, he has always struck me as a very good escort who cared about the needs of his client base. I have yet to meet him personally, but frankly, nothing in the Male Prime profile strucks me as out of character for anything which Mr. Johnson has exhibited in his comments to me, responses in posts, statements in his AOL profile, or otherwise.

 

There are any number of reasons why an escort would use a different stage name. To suggest that Mr. Johnson is somehow lacking in personal integrity over what may simply be a marketing choice, much less to imply there is something "going on" when he is clearly using the same photographs and stats as he has in the past, is really more than beyond the pale.

 

That fact that no one has bothered to respond to your post in spite of the views would suggest that most people would agree that you are creating something out of very little indeed.

Finally, I RESPONDED because I felt a response was called for. When I give my opinion, I state it as such, when I post facts, I often try to provide a source or am prepared to do when I make a claim or assertion. If I am uncertain of something, I state that I believe it to be so but that I have not or at that point am not going to research it once again.

 

As a peace officer, you should know what clearly consitutes proof and evidence and not attempt to impinge someone on the basis of anything less than clear and compelling documentation. Otherwise, and as others have pointed out and your own assertion that you "do not hire" escorts indicates you are simply here to see how much response you can provoke.

Thank you for pointing out what was an obvious apptemp to cloud the fact. Just to add to your post, not only does it go to a web site that is no longer up, the url has been changed to the ip of http://216.219.254.31 -thus my assertion that MICHAEL JOHNSON IS HIDING SOMETHING. I do not pretend to know why, just pointed out a fact.

No obssession, the url had been adjusted so it had no reference to Michael. I was correctly Franco who posted as "fact" in his mind that Michael's url on maleprime was going to a site that announced he was Michael Johnson.

 

I have no negative feelings about Michael. I am questioning his integrity since he seems to like to question others on this board when he apears in a rage and leaves as quickly every two - three months.

Here, we have someone making an assertion and calling it a fact. It is not even an inference or an implication, as that would require an understanding of logic, not to mention powers of logical deduction.

 

That Mr. Johnson's web site is "temporarily unavailable" or that when you click on the site, it sends you to a series of numbers, is not evidence of anything other than the site is temporarily unavailable (which may be due to something as criminal as Mr. Johnson being unable to pay the web hosting fees or something as dangerous as the web host being inundated with traffic) and that he paid for a domain name and that web host he found situated it otherwise, but the domain name still exists. Otherwise, you would receive an error message that stated "site not found." In any event, in creating the profile on Male Prime, Mr. Johnson provided the URL. He also provided an email address.

 

Finally, if you check the profile on AOL, the name given is "MIKE."

 

I stand by both all of the statements, including the factual statements I have made, and the positions I have taken. I do not have any axes to grind, imaginary or otherwise, nor do I find myself with too much free time on my hands to cast negative or inappropriate claims against someone simply to bring attention to something which appears to exist only in my imagination.

I think your observations are so accurate.

 

I don't begin to understand the required mental make-up of a police officer nor do I expect that I have ever experienced stress in the form that I imagine they face daily.

 

I have enjoyed many of Mark - Kalifornia 's posts and have found several to be playful and fun and informative. I have a few friends here in Houston that are on the police force and enjoy their company and try to support their efforts as openly gay officers in a city known for brutal cops and homophobic city councilpersons. They are up against many challenges before they ever begin to protect the citizenry. For their bravery and their sensitivity and their cojones

in dealing with daily threat of death from without and within I salute them and because of them felt an immediate appreciation and kinship with Mark - Kalifornia.

Police officers are a hard nut for me to crack. Gay ones seem to want to lord it over the rest of us to show their power. On the other hand, I do recognize that they live a life of stress and risk. Many of them break down from this stress long before they retire, and the rest of them have the code of silence to cover up for the misdeeds of their fellow officers.

The problem is not limited to gays, of course. As a society, I hope that we find and train only the best people for this job, and then reward them very well. Otherwise, they reward themselves.
