You'll think I'm nuts, but...

 

It would make the reviews easier to read, (especially if you are going back to them looking for a specific dancer), if you would leave a line between each dancer's review. Otherwise it looks like a real long paragraph that's hard to read.

 

Other than that, I'd give you a 10+

Welcome to This Week at The Gaiety, the hottest show on Broadway. This week’s show was not up to the usual high standard. There are always good performances and performers and for any of you who haven’t been here before, I definitely recommend you put it on your itinerary when you’re in New York.

This week’s show was an international one, with dancers representing at least 7 countries. I don’t know who the talent scout is for The Gaiety, but they typically do a very good job of finding us some of the best talent out there.

Thanks to Valley Dweller North for his excellent review and sleuthing last week. I feel totally comfortable taking time off, knowing he is going to fill in admirably. I had a fun time in Las Vegas, despite losing my shirt. It’s a lively city, though the gay life is seriously lacking. Next time, I’ll go back to North America’s best gay city, Montreal.

Stopped by Stonewall last night to see porn star Rod Barry’s performance. What a hottie. He doesn’t have the chiseled body that many of the Gaiety boys, but he oozes sexuality. Great smile, cute face, beautiful butt, uncut dick. It was a fun time. I liked the excitement of the place. The DJ was clearly into the music and the patrons responded. For those of you curious, I was not one of the spectators who was sucking Rod’s dick or eating his ass!

As always, the opinions conveyed in this review are mine alone. We all have different tastes, so the guys I like the most might be the ones you like the least. There is rarely any consensus on who is “best in show”. That becomes obvious, when at the end of the weekend shows, more than half of the dancers get tips when the fans proclaim their preferences. I am frequently amazed when a patron who has not been tipping the entire night decides to tip a dancer I like the least. Different strokes for different folks.

As is my normal practice, only those appearing on both Friday and Saturday will be reviewed. Porn star Cameron Fox was on stage Friday night and Jeremy replaced him on Saturday night.

1. Giovanni, an entertaining number, an excellent dancer (he also dances at Sound Factory) with a knockout body. His physique has improved over his last few appearances (more muscle), but it’s easy to miss how good he’s looking as you become absorbed in his stage show. He dances well, has lots of eye contact and is very playful with the audience. He is not shy at all, exposing his ample dick frequently in his first song (unusual for a dancer to do this). Giovanni always seems to be having fun on stage and is equally personable in the lounge area. I don’t like his tattoos much but I do enjoy his shows. He expresses the music very well, moving about the stage gracefully, making us attentive to his every move.

2. Simon, announced as Mr. Argentina, a muscular “blond” with a routine on stage. While I didn’t like his tacky overcoat that he wore all week, at least he tried to entertain us. He looked like he was trying to imitate Arnold with the sunglasses and the tough guy look. He danced to Aerosmith, just like his first appearance. Simon has a nicely toned muscular body, a pretty dick which he uses well on stage and a nice butt. He’s older than most of the performers but I can see why he has a lot of appeal despite that. I found it amusing that Simon came out barefoot for finales but wore big clunky shoes in his second number.

3. Chris, described by Adrian as a “pretty boy”, but I think that Chris was not looking his best this time around. He still has the boy next door look, but he looked a bit chunkier than I’ve seen him recently. Chris is still the master at eye contact, smiling seductively, luring patrons into his web. I thought it was highly unusual that he didn’t take off his shirt in his first number in many of his shows this week. It’s not like he was dancing so much that we were being entertained; in fact, it was pretty dull watching him strut the stage pretty much fully dressed. More likely, he knew he wasn’t in his top form and was a bit sheepish about it. Still, Chris is a very good-looking guy. Even on a “bad” day, the guys at The Gaiety are still very attractive specimens.

4. Ray, a hot looking Brazilian man, tall, dark, handsome. He danced a bit, showed off his nicely sculpted body with a tuft of hair on his chest. He wore a pair of leather pants in the evening on the weekend; I think he looked better in his jeans, but it was a new look for him and one the audience seemed to enjoy. I like that he shows the head of his dick “accidentally” in his first number. I don’t know why so many of the dancers are inhibited in their first numbers. After all, the more they can seduce us, the better they will do. Ray has a very white ass and the rest of him is very tan, clearly he’s not into tiny bathing suits. He looks a bit intimidating on stage, but when you talk to him, he’s really a sweet guy.

5. Ricky, a handsome performer, friendly, good dancer, nice dresser. I liked his show; he was quite sensual on stage, especially when he was dancing to the Ricky Martin/Madonna duet. He is still pretty inexperienced on stage and doesn’t know how to show himself ideally but he has a certain charm. He has a very cute smile, a nice hairy chest, a well-proportioned though not perfect body and a warm personality. I believe Ricky is from Brazil but resides in Florida where he works at some of the clubs.

6. Felipe, a newcomer, very cute boy, nice face, great eyes, uncut dick (not overly endowed), disappointing butt. He dressed very nicely, wearing a stylish outfit on Saturday with a frilly blue top with a nice necklace that looked good with it, a stylish pair of underwear and an innocent smile. I think he was pretty inexperienced at this sort of thing. He seemed more comfortable on the weekend than when I saw him during the week. He even got the word that he was supposed to go barefoot. I think this one may develop into a good dancer. Felipe is from Colombia, the country, not the university.

7. Johnny, a very seductive young guy, he looks extremely young and he’s quite playful on stage, always having fun, showing off his devilish smile. He is a good dancer, moving around very well, dressed in his clubby outfits. He teased the audience effectively, at one point, tossing his shirt to one patron. He didn’t have a particularly toned body, pretty regular, but he was cute. Those puppy dog eyes were very seductive. For a little boy, he has a big dick. He seemed pretty popular with the audience despite his lack of muscle. Johnny is from Montreal, but no longer performs up there.

8. Sylvio, a handsome guy, very long hair which flopped down in his face (haircut please), obscuring what I feel is a very attractive face. He is a wild dancer, moving in spurts, more than gracefully. He is very sensual on stage. He has a nice body, very well-proportioned, not overdone. I didn’t feel as if any one part of him was exceptional, but taken together, he is a very attractive package. Sylvio is also from Montreal but I’m not sure if he still lives there. He was last seen working at Stock Bar, but I’m not sure he is still there.

9. Octavius, a newcomer and probably my favorite this week. He has a great body, perfect proportions, nice chest, great legs, beautiful butt and a nice dick. He has a pleasant smile and a warm personality. I don’t normally liked shaved heads, but he was very sexy and is incredibly good-looking. I liked his stage routine, lots of variation, he even went barefoot in his first number on Friday (you know that scored points on my scorecard). It was surprising that an newcomer African American appeared so early in the lineup as management always seems to place them last. This guy was hot. I hope he’ll be back soon, he was very likeable. Octavius is from Nebraska originally but is now a New Yorker. Welcome!

10. Alex, another newcomer, this one Latino (I’d guess Mexican if I had to guess). He had a great body, very muscular and developed, a nice dick, a beautifully bubbled butt. He had a nice smile when he relaxed but seemed a little nervous, especially on Saturday. Several of the audience members recognized him from Stellas. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him, I’m sure he’ll be back. Very nice body.

11. Roman, returning after a long absence. From his t-shirt, you can tell he’s from Czech Republic. He looked really good this time, much better than I remember from the past. He’s blond, nice body, particularly his chest. I think he needs a tailor as his white pants were dragging along the floor (dirty). He puts on a decent show, showing off his butt more than most in his first number. He seems like a friendly guy. I know he has developed a good following here at The Gaiety, those Eastern Europeans are awfully sexy.

 

That’s it for this week. Next week’s rumors include the continuation of Roman. Joining him will be TJ, Scott Gunz and Nikko. I’ve heard a few other rumors but they’re just sketchy rumors at this point.

NYO...I don't know how you do it, week after week with these great detailed reviews. You must know every adjective there is to describe a dancers dick, butt, face, performance, dress, hair, etc...

 

I hope you realize what a great service your reviews provide for these dancers. I was talking with a few dancers who said they were looking forward to reading your reviews. In my opinion, it does wonders for their egos. I think they all can use a little fine stroking.

 

Last week, I was with a dancer who thought I was the New York Observer! He saw me writing something down during his performance. He didn't say anything about this until we got to the hotel. So, playing along, I inquired about what "special" services do you provide for the KING! It was a very good private, but I did tell him the truth. LOL...

 

Again, thanks for keeping us informed on the "Greatest Show on Broadway"...

AND there is a first here! We both agree on a man ... Octavius! He is wonderful! Since you and I have very different tastes on men I beleive we both see eye to eye on this great man.

 

As I was trotting through the rain ( I don't jog or run, I trot) towards Grand Central to make my 1:20AM train Friday I ran into Octavius. We stopped and had a wet moment. I almost did not get on the train.

No, I don't think that's nuts. When it's written (in Word) there are spaces between guys. I believe that's how it shows up when it's posted in the new reviews section. When I cut and paste it in the message center, it loses all the spacing. Sorry about that! Maybe wait until Monday and read it in the Newest Reviews section for your reading ease.

A Change of Policy?

 

If my memory serves me correctly, there was a policy in effect a while ago that prevented the reviewer from mentioning a dancer's origin. I presumed it was to do with immigration, but I could be wrong.

 

However of late this policy seems to have gone bye bye.

 

Guess I'm just curious as to why the policy has changed. Any ideas?
