I suppose it is time to break the silence. I have noticed a growing concern in weeks past over the status of Campus, both on these message boards and in client correspondence. I have heard the concerns that many regular Campus patrons were concerned about dealing with a new owner at the service. Will service and quality stay the same? Will the boys stay with the service? I have heard all of these concerns and feel that now is an appropriate time to respond.

 

First, let me begin by saying I apologize for keeping many of you in the dark for so long and I thank those loyal patrons of the Boys on Campus for sticking with us even in times of uncertainty. Second, let me say that Campus is not going anywhere and we have not been sold to anyone. Our quality service and excellent boys are here to stay so you can all rest easy. That being said, however, Campus will be undergoing some changes. As many of you know, I have been on the phones of Campus since its beginning. It has been continuous but rewarding work. Now that Campus has grown and I have such a wonderful, supportive, and competent staff that I trust greatly, I now have the opportunity to pursue some outside interests.

 

Beginning Monday Sept. 16th I will return to school to pursue an intensive post graduate degree in photography for the next 10 months. As many of you know, education is VERY important to me. I have an undergraduate degree, two master’s degrees as well at 3 years of law school. For many years, I have wanted to gain more knowledge in photography. I have been accepted into a great program and can’t pass up the opportunity.

 

Though I will be around, due to this demanding schedule I will be leaving the phone duties entirely to my staff that many of you have already come to know. Also, I will not be signing into this board as often (a hard thing to say as it often becomes addictive). HooBoy has done a fantastic job with this site and has been great to work with over the years. I am still amazed at what a tremendous job he does with all the work for this site. Both he and the moderators are to be commended. HooBoy seems able to juggle a million things at the same time and does it with class. Thank you Hoo for all your help!

 

All phone and e-mail procedures and company policies at Campus will remain the same. Campus is extremely important to me and I trust my staff completely. As an added bonus, also beginning in October, Campus will have extended hours to give you more opportunities to see your favorite boys. Beginning Monday, September 30, 2002, Campus will open at 12 noon and stay open till 2am (Sunday – Thursday). Weekend hours will be from 12 noon to 3am (Friday and Saturday).

 

Again, I want to thank the very loyal patrons at Campus for continually supporting the service. Thank you all for continuing on with us through this change. I hope that our new advantages may encourage others of you to have a new experience with one of our great boys. See you on Campus Boys!

Good luck in your new undertaking, Mike. I hope your "boys" at Campus watch your example carefully... that the escorting biz is fun, lucrative, and rewarding. But that it is often best used as a bridge to bigger and better things.
