I also hired him last year but did not post a review. I will say he has a nice body but he appears not to really be into the whole scene. He did bottom for me which is what I wanted. It was rather mechanical and quick. I would give him a C+ for a grade only because he did do as I requested even though he was somewhat detached from the experience.

Hi there. I hired Joseph quite a while ago. I agree with the previous post - he is a waste of time and money - The guy does have a hot body, very beefy, and he is not unattractive and probably quite smart (If I remember correctly, he's studying to be an architect). But his attitude is very condescending, he makes you feel he's doing you a big favor by just being with you. And the sex reflects that attitude, very mechanical, to say the least. I've been with a lot of hot escorts in NYC, and have had some great times with many of them (I even reviewed a couple of them - I'm not good at the "reviewing" bit) but Joseph is definitely not one of the good ones.

Unfortunately I hooked up with Joseph on Sat to see for myself. After I booked him I called him back a told him of the negative comments here. He denied them all an tried to say it was a disgruntled client and assured me that I would have a good time..

 

To make it brief he asked for money up front which I told him was always a bad sign. Then he repeatedly asked me to try to find this website so he could see for himself...this ran into my time and he became agitated.

 

Guys as Scortver stated save your money...Stay away..he is horrible. I told him that as I was leaving and told him to read comment #4 in this post. He was all those things and more..He was the worst escort experience I have encountered in my many years of experience. He doesn't give a shit about you or your time with him. He is not nearly as cut as his pic shows..

Why didn't you write a review for Joseph? Do you only want to post positive reviews, so then if the experience is bad, you don't post at all? I don't understand why 3 (4, if you count Godiva) of you are reviewing him here, but not in an official review. More people read the reviews than the Message Center; wouldn't you want this information to get out there to other clients? Isn't that the point of the site...sharing info about who's good & who's a ripoff?

Actually, in a way I'm glad he didn't, because of all the posts, Godiva's actually gave me the most insight as to what this guy was really like.

 

Cooper, reviewers are not infallible. There are many cases of negative reviews/posts on an escort being posted by jealous boyfriends, unethical competitors, and just plain crazy people who are out to ruin reputations. Then, even if the reviewer is legit, tastes vary, expectations vary and what you may find appealing/desirable in an escort may be (and likely is) very different from what I look for.

 

So don't knock Godiva because he found "waste of time and money" to be rather uninformative but be grateful that he posted a much fuller account of his experience with this guy...

Rick, you're absolutely right, of course. I've had my share of mediocre-to-bad-experiences. The reason I haven't posted any negative review is because in my case if I don't enjoy my time with an escort, it's usually because he doesn't turn me on and that is such a subjective thing. A sexy guy to one can be unappealing to another. I've been with escorts who had incredible reviews that left me thinking "what the hell do these guys see in him, I can do better by going to a bar and pick up a guy for free" (I won't name names!!). And again, noone's right or wrong in this. But for whatever it's worth, I've been known to show up at an escort's place and immediately walk out, because I sensed there was no way we would connect...

 

In Joseph's case, we did have sex, because I did find him attractive, just not responsive. I just thought maybe he'd warm up... When he didn't, I figured perhaps he was "off" that night and since he had no review, I didn't want one bad review (mine) to ruin his business. Now, obviously, it looks like he deserves to go under...

 

So Rick, we are all counting on you now, to give us the moral of that story...

I've read nothing but negative things about this Joseph character and yet NOT ONE OF YOU even bothered to write a review. That is the primary reason for this website...TO REVIEW ESCORTS. 90% of the reviews on this site all gush about the escorts they are reviewing and quite frankly, I take them all with a grain of salt. The other 10% of the reviews are negatives. There are practically no "so-so" reviews. That's what makes reviews interesting...getting to see the pros and cons on everyone. Roger Ebert, when reviewing movies always gives both sides and then you decide if it is for you.

From all comments made here about Joseph, you should stay away from him. Yet, anyone interested in hiring him would never know this if they look to reviews. Come on guys, get with it.

If memory serves me correctly - didn't we hear about one review either not being posted, or taken down, because it was neither negative or positive? Evidently Hooboy didn't like someone to be rated as a 5 on a xcale of 1 - 10.

But, scrtlovr, it's his JOB to turn you on. If he can't do it, we, the consuming public, should know that.

And that's why I (and I suspect others) never take one negative review as gospel. Sometimes it IS chemistry. But, when you post a negative and then others follow, we get the picture.

Hey Guys just got home from work..

 

I will post a review but I knew this would get to you quicker and I didn't want anyone to experience his crap anyway. My immediate response was to get home and post right away but my friends told me to cool off and wait a day. I e-mailed him the next day to tell him I was not happy with his service and in fact I felt like poster #4 in this thread had described him. His reply was F@#$% Y$%%* and more. So it was then I decided to post here and a more detailed review will come.

 

I check here for reviews and tend to believe comments posted here more than the review center. Its probably because I don't recognize and trust many of the new handles and between all of us frequent posters here we have either experienced one of these guys or we will. I tend to trust the more recognizable handles here. I think the info here is raw and to the point were the Review Center reviews tend to "Gloss Over" potential problems with escorts. I do understand and respect the reason why it exsist and I will continue to post reviews both negative and positive.

I've never written a "formal" escort review. I prefer the up-to-the-minute banter here between people to whom I have (sort of) attached a personality.

 

If someone specifically asks about an escort and I have had a recent encounter, I try to respond quickly and to the point.

 

Since I believe that 99% of "great" encounters are "chemistry", I find the longer reviews mostly useless (although immensely entertaining). I just want to know if the guy is reliable or not.

 

I think all reviews basically fall into three categories:

 

1) Nice guy, did what he promised, but just not my type.

 

2) Complete waste of time.

 

3) Nice guy, rocked my world.

 

The rest I can find out for myself....

I've started only posting a review if I've had a negative experience with an escort. Why? Because the last two or three reviews I submitted, Hooboy kept kicking back to me, saying that I hadn't submitted enough details. Now I promise you, my reviews were fairly detailed...much more so than so many I read that say something like "then we went to the bedroom, and although I won't go into specifics, we had a great time." Basically, submitting a positive review became more hassle than it was worth.

 

On the other hand, if I've had a bad experience or been scammed by an escort, I always write a review-- no matter how much trouble it is, I'm willing to do it so that another person won't waste their money as I did.

While I agree that the negative reviews are very useful in steering us away from bad experiences, (yes, I acknowledge that a single bad review may not be sufficient grounds for automatically rejecting an escort) I think it is also important to post the positive, good reviews. If everyone just posted bad reviews, who would we find to hire here?
