Apology accepted...The TERM is an insult to any astute person of color as well as to Asians.

 

Dinge queen is negative... I could go on and on, but since you asked, I thought it necessary to apprise you. These are two negative terms used in the so-called gay community-- the latter term is a misnomer when it comes to reality.

 

The term Oriental is passe nowadays, and my response is much more than being so-called POLITIALLY CORRECT, for I liked the television mc on POLITICALLY INCORRECT. As you know because of his views on topics his show is NOT being renewed by ABC. The man is brilliant. I only mention it here to throw water on the term pc.

 

The term polically correct has become a panacea for other things, and because I am not in the right mind to write a long, succinct treatise on the topic, I shall stop here.

As one who has long been charmed by Asian men, I agree that there is a great deal of racialist feeling to terms like "rice queen." On the other hand, some of my Asian friends who have a penchant for caucasian men refer to themselves -- or others like them -- as "potato queens."
