gaiety: what's possible during a private?

Hi guys,

 

I went to NY's famous stripclub Gaiety for the first time last week. Nice experience.

 

Many boys approached me offering a 'private' for 150 or 200 dollar. When I asked what was possible most of them told 'we will have a good time'. Can somebody share his experiences? Is it a real sex session or just a private strip?

It really varies from dancer to dancer. I have had some just allow worship, others will do mutual oral, some allow assplay, and a few have been "full service" with me topping them (I am sure there are some that will top as well, but I am a top so that never comes up). It may seem uncomfortable to discuss things in the Lounge, but if you don't want to be disappointed, you need to do this. As they will be cautious of being entrapped, you may want to phrase it as..."I really like to do (fill in the blank). If we got together, do you think that I am likely to get what I like?" And speak slowly and clearly for the HOT ones from Montreal... their English is not always that good.

 

I am sure that the NYC natives will have advice for you as well (I am just a frequent visitor).

I find that MOST of the guys are simply str8 trade...a few exceptions I am sure...and most do no penetration...and for 200 bucks...someone is getting fucked...

 

They also (most likely) don't kiss...which is a big turn-on for me...I am always tempted to hire from there, but I just don't want to risk a bad encounter...there are too many good escorts in NYC to put up with the Gaiety nonsense.

As a rule of thump, hooking up with Gaiety guys will not be nearly as satisfying as hiring one of the many excellent escorts in NYC. Gaiety dancers are just that, dancers rather than escorts, and any sexual activities they indulge are decidedly extra-curricular. I did pick up guys from the Gaiety over the years, but the encounters were invariably hurried (count on 30 min for your 150-200 dollars) and the sex was minimal. What’s more, I had a few disasters with dancers who were sweet/accommodating in the lounge only to morph into scam artists while behind closed doors (read: they try to weasel out from what you’d agreed on and do next to nothing for the same fee!).

 

Nowadays, when I go to the Gaiety it's only for window-shopping and I never hire a guy while he works at the Gaiety. However, some of the dancers do put ads in Next and Rentboy.com as escorts, so if I’m interested in a guy I ask him if he’ll be escorting after his stint in the Gaiety and, if so, I make arrangements to see him then. This way, the dancer is more relaxed and doesn’t have to worry about missing his stage show (which means I’ll get the full hour!), and –since he advertised himself as an escort- the sex quotient is usually higher.

 

That said, I can safely say that the best sex I’ve ever had was with escorts I got to know from ads, not the Gaiety.

I am really hesitating. Frederick who is dancing this week is a beautiful boy but i don't know what to expect. It's indeed difficult to ask, but i must do it to be sure and to avoid disappointments...

It really varies from dancer to dancer. The eye candy is great, but the "bang for the buck" is usually somewhat lacking at the Gaiety. You definitely need to discuss up front, even though that can be somewhat difficult, since the need for discretion has increased. Do a search on the reviews here. NYO has given some helpful comments on the privates of some of the regulars from time to time. Some of the x-gaiety dancers are very good, so the trick is identifying the talent early on in their career. Also your pleasure will depend on what you are looking for. If oral is enough, most will be accomodating, if anal penetration is a requirement, active or passive, the chances of satisfaction are diminished.

They are dancers rather than escorts. However they go to The Gaiety mainly for their escorts deals. I do not imagine they dance there for the customers' tips or for The Gaiety salary.

I had nice experiences with the Canadian Niko/Pierre (in fact, arranged through the net and not at the Club) and with the Czech Roman. Nice guys.

If I am not mistaken...they don't get a salary...as a matter of fact I think THEY pay the Gaiety Mgmt. to dance, dont they? I am not completely sure on this....but I could've sworn I was told that before...

 

And you are right....they make their money on the private shows...not the few bucks they make on-stage.

Right. Unfortunately, the dancers don't know that! In fact, more than once a dancer would respond by saying "but, I'm not an escort!", when I would discuss penetration or kissing with them. Go figure! BTW, they are getting paid by the Gaiety, albeit not much.

"Nice experiences" is a very vague term as a nice experience means different things to different people. At any rate, I didn't say it was impossible to have a "nice experience" with a Gaiety dancer, just not very likely. After all, some customers aren't very demanding or are easy to please!

I have hired dancers at the Gaiety about a dozen times in the last two years, and overall have had good Luck! Niko/Pierre(you can find him under Montreal in the review section and NYC under Niko #3) is gay, kisses, bottoms, does mutual oral and is a really nice guy! The Brazilian guys that perform there have also been willing to do most activities. I have also been with several guys that would only let you suck them, and one bad experience with a Montreal guy(i think about 1/2 the guys that dance there are from Montreal) who would only let you suck him and had to wear a condom to do it---i left without doing or paying him as he promised a good time!! and that is not my idea. I have learned to ask, do you kiss, and do you suck!

I happened to be leaving one night at the same time one of the dancers and he definately got paid before he left followinf his last show that week. I'm sure it is not much.

From my conversations with some of the dancers, the tips are minimal and the big money is getting as many privates as possible, which is a big frustration with NYC since they have to go back to the hotel as opposed to doing them on site (which eats up time).

 

Bottom line, don't expect much from the boys.
