I met him once, at the Titan Media booth at a folsom street fair, probably back around 1997. I was friends with Robert Kirsch, one of the founders of Titan, who died last year pretty quickly of some kind of cancer (most likely bladder cancer that spread thoughout his gut),

 

Robert told me at the time, "Marquez" was a graduate student, spoke 5 languages fluently, and was living in Italy. Robert was especially impressed with "Marquez"'s cooking skills, saying that he could be a world-class chef if he so chose.

 

What's not real obvious from looking at his pictures is that the guy is HUGE. You'ld think from the photos that Marquez was something like 5'8" with a very tight gymnasts build, but he's easily 6'2" or taller. And those pecs and biceps are pretty intimidating when you're right up next to him... More power to you if you can top him, Hagen!!!!!

Even though it's a generalization none of us would appreciate if it had to do with some other subjects, I totally agree... A Hairdresser (or some other way to butch up the title) just doesn't make you think Wow, what a MAN..

Before you ladies get the vapors I have to correct one mistaken impression: he's not 6'2" or taller. I'm 6'2" and he's a little shorter than I am. Also, I saw him at The Eagle a few weeks ago and he's gotten very square. I don't mean socially but rather he's gotten so big that he's lost most of his lines. He's just kind of big and hulky and puffy. He needs to stop the steroid cycles and get lean again (as should Jake of JakesBodyWorks). He use to be breath-taking. Yes, it really is a shame about Robert Kirsch (a very gentle and sweet soul who enjoyed taking it like a man) and who started out as a model himself and worked for Falcon before all the Falcon models started to look like they came from the same mold. Shortly thereafter, I stopped watching new videos and simply started looking at all the pretty photographs on the internet.
