I thought Matt's e-mail response showed class and respect for his clients.

Yes, there are various methods of getting Hep. B but it is really prevelent in the gay community. I wouldn't necessarily suspect that the client got it from Matt. But, the client did state that at the very least, Matt had been exposed and had already discussed that possibility with Matt.

I sure the client is pissed about the exposure. But, I do respect him for contacting Matt and ensuring that Matt get tested.

It's an unfortunate reminder to all that we've got to play safe.

I am surprised no one has chimed in on this. I noticed his review a few days ago where the client all but accused Matt of giving him Hep B. First off...why would no one in this day and age not get a Hep B vaccine...escpecially if you are sexually active...and secondly...there are a couple of diffeent ways to contract Hep B if I am not mistaken.

You can actually catch it from a restaurant or sharing a glass of water with someone can you not?

I just thought it was odd to lay the blame on an escort when no proof has been offered. I noticed in the e-mail section that Matt said he was being tested. I know Hep B can knock you out for a little while...but it is very treatable and curable is it not?

Matt, keep us posted as to your rssults...I hope it turns out ok...

And while you're at the doctor's office...get a vaccine!!

That's certainly true. One shouldn't be sexually active, let alone hiring escorts if one hasn't been vaccinated against Hep A and B.

Maybe you're thinking of Hep A and mononucleosis, respectively. Hep B requires some sort of blood/genital fluid exchange.

Ah... Not really. But most (80%) eventually recover with no long-term damage. This can take months, though. Not much you can do in the meantime. You don't want to be one of the unlucky 20%.

Good advice.

I would not call it a review, it had nothing related to a review and never should have been posted as a review. It was a farewell email from a client that should have been posted in this forum or at best under this sites' email section. I am very surprized that Hooboy actually put it up as a "review." The author reviewed nothing!

With that said I thought the escort showed much grace in his response, that oddly was posted in the email section and not under the so-called review - as escorts responses are commonly placed.

I wish the client the best with his health.

Cheers! Ritchie

I too, was very surprised it even got posted. I'd wager it is impossible for the client to pinpoint the source of the Hepatitis infection to just that escort. It's irresonsible to post a review like that.

Reminds me of another message on this board a long, long time ago - about a client who alledged an escort gave him body lice.
