I totally agree, I have been trying to get more information on a Cute Guy from StockBar.ca called Ken who has also appeared at Gaiety NYC, and according to Searches on this and other sites etc has been Sansified and is well respected by NYO, see his NYO/Gaiety Reviews[This if its the same Barbies - Ken]. Still no reviews or confirmation he escorts and what his interactive abilities are.

I have had 2 private e-mails one asking for my cell phone number and one advising me he is SMALL, but no indication whether thats is Height, Build or Cock Size. With so many Gaiety guys originating from Montreal seems like 25% of them are from the Cold North it is very strange there are so few reviews. Maybe they have a No Tell clause in any Private Show aggreement LOL.

I dont want to spend 3 snowy nights in Montreal for a Dud, there are enough of those in my Job.

Coffee, Tea or Me.

Speaking only for myself, I go to Montreal 3 to 4 times a year and have NEVER hired an escort. I love the strip bars and the atmosphere, but that doesn't include hiring. Maybe there are others like me.

I get the distinct impression that--with the employment opportunities offered by places like Stock, Campus, Adonis and now Nirvana--that most of the guys who might escort in Montreal actually elect to dance instead. Two or three lap dances in an hour, and they've earned as much as they would with a private client in a hotel room...and without engaging in actual, all-out (and I guess even "illegal") sex. I think that the clubs also attract a lot of trade, who like to be admired but don't love to be touched. So I think that while there's no shortage of gorgeous male flesh in the Great White North, most of them aren't selling sex....just a few minutes to gyrate on your lap in a private booth. I don't think Montreal actually HAS that many escorts....call me crazy, but I think it's the truth.

Sorry guys, but you are wrong.

I have been going to Montreal for many years, and many times each year. I would say that 75% of the strippers are available for privates. I concede that not all of them are, and some, like anywhere, will try to negoitiate unreasonable fees, but this is the free market system in action. However, most are more reasonable, and I have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER been ripped off, or had any trouble from any of them. They are all perfectly honest, decent and kind. Not to mention horny and beautifully sculpted.

All part of the Canadian way I guess. But again I ask, why not more reviews.

OK, guilty as charged. The fact is that I started submitting reviews a couple of years ago and, for whatever reason, the first several didn't get published so I gave up until recently and now they seem to get on. So, in the interests of doing a little catch-up on experiences that might otherwise be a little too old to qualify, here's some of my experience in Montreal where I have been going for a number of years, at least several times a year. My personal preference is for young, well hung very straight (acting) young men - as opposed to boys. I am a very oral top. I also find that almost all the dancers are available for privates at $150-200 (Canadian). Taboo is much too young twinky-fem for my tastes so I rarely go there. Adonis has been very good for me, especially in more recent times when the mix upward from Twinky-fem has improved. Saturday afternoon tryouts can be excellent. I am very selective and only do dances with someone I'm interested in for a private as a sort of interview and I limit the dances to two or three so they have to do the private for the "big" money. (Two exceptions to this - Once when I was literally fucking one of the afternoon boys in the backroom on a slow day at Campus, the other a dancer at Stock who hasn't - quite - yet agreed to a private but allows me to go awfully far in dances.) Obviously I also like some of the afternoon boys at Campus, but don't care as much for the nighttime guys who are usually too big and/or just too slick-professional for my tastes. While some of this also applies to Stock, open nights only, on balance I agree that their guys are the best at night. I haven't been to the new place on St. Catherines yet, but am heading north this weekend and will report back. On a couple of other fronts, when I first started going to Montreal on a regular basis, I tried the escort services a number of times with disastrous results - just no match of descriptions to the real person that showed up. The dance clubs are a MUCH better source. While I regularly see street boys on "the block", the only ones I ever picked up were identical twin 19 year olds, one gay, one bi who were adorable and fun for one afternoon $75 for the pair, unnegotiated (I gave them $100 and felt like I got the bargain of the year).

I have to agree with Porpex. I spent two evenings in Montreal recently and stopped by the Stock bar to find someone to take back to my hotel. The dancers were very hot, very nice, but the ones I was interested in said flatly that they don't do "privates". (I don't think it was me; some of them were pretty wild in the lap dances.) I really do think that they make as much, if not more, dancing, and that they enjoy being admired more than touched.

I went to Nirvana last weekend (and Stock, Campus, Adonis & Taboo of course). Although it was Sunday night, Nirvana was a disappointment and, rumor has it, that its days are numbered. I saw about 4 dancers and about 12 customers, very quiet and I hear not much action in the lap dance area is allowed. But its a nice bar, can't hurt to check it out. It’s right on St. Catherines upstairs from Sky bar on the 2nd floor. Its on the opposite side of the street from Campus and I believe its in the 1400 block, just ask anyone where Sky is.

As for why there are so few reviews in Montreal, I believe it is because there are so many incredibly gorgeous men working at these great strip clubs who are very widely willing to do privates. Much like the recent postings about the street hustlers in Montreal, I think the trade is somewhat self-policing and that scam artists are quickly driven out by the fine legit guys.

Of all the times I've been to Montreal I've never had a dancer refuse to do a private session at my hotel and at a very reasonable price by US standards (generally CAD $200). Since HooBoy requires either a phone number or e-mail for a first review, many of these guys never got listed. Many of them do quite well without being reviewed here and don't need to subject themselves to HooBoy's rules. I very highly recommend Nicolas and Ken from Stock and Xavier from Campus. Oh, I almost forgot ... you MUST check out the 3 brothers at Stock, the youngest is to die for!

That has been my experience...two very nice guys in lap dances, etc said "No, I don't do privates".

Kenny, I am with you! I have never been turned down for a private unless the dancer is previously booked. Plus I am asked all the time if I would be interested in a private, and we are not talking a lap dance here.

I am going to Montreal for the weekend now, so will check out Nirvana, if it still around. This was a dumb time to open a new club after 9/11. The tourists have disappeared. But wait till spring, every little thing is going to come UP!!!

I was in Montreal last weekend for three nights and did all five strip clubs on St. Catherine. I asked 15 guys (some in each bar) to go to my hotel for private, and all agreed. (I did not take them all up, unfortunately.) Price in every case was accepted at $150 CD and I asked for specific activities; not all would do anal. But all would do oral, reciprocal.

Nirvana hires what appear to be boys off the street, unexceptional bodies and no tans. On the other hand, there were so few customers that the dancers would do almost anything to get a tip. I would disagree with an earlier post; I got away with almost everything and they seemed to enjoy it. Guys were friendly.

Stock is without doubt the best, to look at, to have a lap dance, and to seek an escort. Great variety of guys, most very nice and friendly and agreeable. The bar has a pleasant atmosphere.

Campus has enlarged its stage, and in my opinion, its guys. Most are big and bulkynd appear sullen. Lap dances can get very hot and virtually everyone is available if you like that type.

Adonis is a real mixed bag; some nights great, others really bad. Friday night was really the pits.

Taboo, for me, is still great. Only one skinny kid last weekend, and a number of magnificent young bodies, not big and bulky, but beautiful, proportioned, nicely fleshed, smooth, and tan. Crowd was the biggest of all stripper bars every night, atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, and I always meet interesting people.

And I do disagree about agencies. A couple are not good, agreed; but there is one superb one which delivers exactly the package I want every time, on time, morning, noon or night, with a smile and a hard-on.

Montreal is Nirvana.
